Michael, I hope I'm leaving this comment correctly, I've never commented here at Wikimedia Commons before, only at Wikipedia. Apologies if there's an error in the comment. I edited the description of two photos of a Marriott hotel in Niagara Falls because they were inaccurate. Marriott has two hotel properties directly across the street from each other at that location. It's extremely confusing, because one of them has had three different names. The photos from 2010 are both labeled "Marriott Gateway". However, the photos do not show that hotel, which is one block back from the edge of the falls, and is a box-shaped structure. That hotel is currently named "Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls." The photos actually show the other Marriott next door, the curved one directly on the edge of the falls, the "Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa." There are Wikipedia pages for both hotels and photos of both can easily be found by Googling the names. I wasn't vandalizing the pages for the photos, I was correcting the description of which Marriott the photos show. The photos do not show the "Marriott Gateway," and that hotel no longer uses that name. Best, James. (talk) 21:12, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
