Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

El reloj de arena[edit]

Buenas, Marianopelo. Viendo la siguiente imagen (Los Contemporáneos, El Reloj de Arena, 22.8.1913, nº 243, cover by Mariano Pedrero.jpg), subida en 2020 por la cuenta Marianopedrero, que aunque no coincide exactamente con la suya sospecho que pudiera pertenecerle a usted, me pregunto:

¿Tiene algún indicio de que la ilustración de portada fue realizada por Mariano Pedrero? ¿Firmada como tal? ¿Estilo similar al de Pedrero? En la colección literaria de Los Contemporáneos era habituabilísimo que el autor de la portada y el de las páginas interiores no coincidieran. Un saludo. ¿El pequeño símbolo ubicado en la parte inferior derecha del escudo corresponde a una posible firma, si bien desde luego no la más habitual, de Mariano Pedrero? ¿Son una M y una P superpuestas? Strakhov (talk) 16:37, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Efectivamente, esta era una sus firmas abreviadas en publicaciones.

Concretamente, en la misma subcategoría de "Los Contemporáneos", hay otros con la misma firma:

El anzuelo roto

Lo cursi

También en el "Mensajero del corazón de Jesús", por ejemplo en Diciembre 1904, podrá encontrar esta firma.

Buenos días Srakhov

Referente a Wikicommons de Mariano Pedrero.

He notado que es diferente si uno ha hecho el log in o no.

A.

Si uno NO ha hecho log in entonces, al inicio, solamente indican 8 subcategorías (el número 8), mientras que usted amablemente el domingo le añadió otras dos. En cambio si uno hace el log in entonces, al inicio, indican el número 10.

B.

Ya dentro de la subcategoría "Art works by Mariano Pedrero in Blanco y Negro" subí dos imágenes adicionales. Estas dos ya estaban pero con muy poco peso y no se veían bien. Por ello las volví a subir a mayor resolución.

Concretamente el "Puente de Mª Cristina en San Sebastián" y "La Esquina del Fénix".

Si uno NO ha hecho log in entonces NO le aparecen estas dos nuevas imágenes, pero si uno hace el log in SÍ aparecen.

Comment Hola, Marianopelo. Si escribe en su propia página de discusión mensajes a terceras personas es muy probable que estas no se enteren, a menos que enlace la página de discusión del usuario, al igual que seguramente usted no haya leído las decenas de mensajes que hay en mi página de discusión. Quisiera preguntarle si usted lo considerara oportuno de, dentro de la Categoría "Original art works by Mariano Pedrero", crear una nueva subcategoría "Original art works by Mariano Pedrero in Cantabria". Digo esto ya que de los muchos originales que figuran en este momento casi veinte son de Cantabria.

No, no lo considero oportuno por el momento, además de que esa sintaxis no es la que siguen de forma habitual las categorías en Commons e implicaría que dichos original art works están físicamente en Cantabria (en museos de Cantabria, en colecciones particulares de Cantabria), no que en ellos aparecen representados lugares de Cantabria, que creo que es lo que usted quiere decir.
