Screenshots of copyrighted software like Windows are themselves copyrighted by the software author, and unless you can persuade Microsoft to give a free license for their work (not likely! :-) ), the screenshots can't be at commons. Stan Shebs 13:12, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • No se nombra licencia alguna (por lo que te la inventaste).
  • No se dice que el permiso sea irrevocable.
  • "Utilizar" es un término ambiguo: debe darse permiso expreso para usos comerciales y obras derivadas.
  • Te dan permiso a ti, lo que no es válido: el permiso debe darse a todo el mundo (que respete la licencia).

Insisto: ni está claro (porque no se menciona Wikipedia, sino sólo un artículo), ni eso sirve (porque Commons aloja material libre, y las licencias "para Wikipedia" no son válidas), ni has mencionado todo lo demás. No es cuestión de ganar o perder. Tener imágenes con graves dudas sobre su licencia es malo, no tenerlas también (pero al menos evitamos problemas), y lo bueno sería tenerlas correctamente. Lo único que he dicho, y creo que es difícil de negar, es que el permiso actual no sirve. Así que lo ideal sería volver a solicitar permiso usando el modelo, y pidiéndoles además escaneos de alta resolución. Un saludo. --Dodo 19:38, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Licencias y autorizaciones[edit]

Hola, he marcado para borrar la práctica totalidad de tus subidas. Para evitarnos perder tiempo, te agradeceríamos que:

  1. Indicases la fuente de las imágenes.
  2. Usases el modelo de petición de autorizaciones para pedirlas (es importante, sobre todo, que el que dice dar autorización, sea el propietario de los derechos de las imágenes)
  3. No te inventes las licencias
  4. Lo de "tomado de una wikipedia" no sé si crees que es suficiente, pero no, no es válido. La fuente concreta es siempre obligatorio.

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
