Well, if you use that {{Nopenis}} rationale:

  1. Make sure it is being used by clicking Check Usage
  2. If it is in use somewhere, it is automatically considered in scope.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

you've had now have the Patroller right and may call yourself a patroller ! Please take a moment to read the updated Commons:Patrol to learn how Patrolling works and how we use it to fight vandalism.

As might know already, the patrolling functionality has been enabled for all edits, no longer just for page creations. This enables us to keep track of, for example, edit made by anonymous users on Commons.

We could use you help at the Counter Vandalism Unit. For example by checking an Anonymous edits checklist and patrol a day-part. There is a short video tutorial which addresses some things you may not know.

Tengo que leer un monton de cosas, y no tengo tiempo, y seguro me eliminas las imágenes que me costó mucho reunir, todo el trabajo que hice me lo tiras en un minuto, que lamentable esta comunidad, asi no da ganas de aportar nada, la única manera es ser fotógrafo e ir hasta al baño con el jugador para certificar la "fuente". Como puedo hacer para que no las eliminen... Para que tantas horas en subir y armar los artículos?. aparte te ensañaste con todas las imagenes mias.... Una ultima cosa: Como puedo contactarme con alguien para que me ayude, tipo chat u msn...

La verdad no se entiende mucho lo que me decis , porque seguramnete me estas traduciendo las palabras con un traductor... no se de que pais sos y la lengua que usas, aparte no entiendo porque pones un link de una pagina y aseguras que el dueño es esa persona, cuando tranquilamente pueden haber robado de cualquier sitio esa foto, quien te asegura que la foto esa con el link que me pusiste es el autor original?
Cuanto tiempo tengo para poder solucionar el problema?

te explico que de las 7 fotos que me borraron, una si era mia, y sin enbargo no me dieron una explicacion, la borraron justo con todas, como puedo hacer para autentificar que es mia, un usuario me dijo que las suba a su tamaño original, pero no la tengo mas grande que 800X800 px .... como hago, tengo que pedirle al jugador un autografo con la presencia de la foto para que me crean los moderadores de commons???

Template:Commons policies and guidelines/es

He visto que hablas español y que utilizas el modelo Template:Commons policies and guidelines en inglés. He intentado traducirlo. Si estuvieras interesado en cambiarlo en tu página de usuario solo tienes que añadir /es al final del template. Es decir, modificar {{Commons policies and guidelines}} por {{Commons policies and guidelines/es}}

Hola Manuelt15. Sí, hay versiones actualizadas en svg de todos ellos. Están todos en category:Maps of municipalities of Málaga. Me he aseguarado de cambiar las viejas versiones de todos los artículos de las wikis en todos los idiomas por las nuevas para que no se dañe ningún artículo al borrarlos. Hi, as far as I know here don't say an exact number, my deletion summary is a transclution of the reason of the user who requested the deletion (maybe he replaced the categories in the files too) So, maybe you should contact him and/or recreate the category. Hola, quisiera saber porque borraste la imagen File:Naruto-Uzumaki.jpg, si la saque de flickr y con una licencia libre. Aunque la imagen haya sido liberada bajo una licencia libre en Flickr, es un trabajo derivado, el cual posee los mismo derechos de autor que el trabajo original (la serie de Naruto) por lo que sigue siendo una violación de estos derechos. En Flickr se le da la opción a los usuarios de liberar sus imágenes bajo CC, pero esto no da por hecho que éstos sean los autores originales de las imágenes, por eso hay que tener cuidado con el contenido de Flickr. Veo que has borrado las páginas: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Compound_of_dodecahedron_and_icosahedron.png que yo había subido de la Viquipèdia inglesa, por ejemplo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Compound_of_five_cubes.png. Las imágenes de http://web.archive.org/web/20051219075225/www.physics.orst.edu/~bulatov/polyhedra/uniform_compounds/index.html no se parecen en nada a las nuestras y amara son de 2006 mientras que las de la Viquipèdia son de 2005. ¿Se puede arreglar? --JRGomà (talk) 17:06, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Por ejemplo, si utilizas un cliente VMRL compara este gráfico 3D con la versión borrada de File:Compound of great icosahedron and stellated dodecahedron.png, también como podrás notar, al final de [3] aparece © Copyright 1996 V.Bulatov, e incluso, en Archive.org hay versiones hasta de 1997, por lo que sus imágenes/gráficos están desde mucho antes que las de Wikipedia, desconozco si se pueden reproducir estos gráficos desde cero y que queden casi exactamente iguales a los de physics.orst.edu, en todo caso si deseas puedo volver a abrir la consulta de borrado o bien puedes hacer una consulta de restaurado. To allow an image here on Wikimedia Commons, we need a valid source/author and need to be released under a free license (see Commons:Licensing), that file was uploaded without author, source and license, so we couldn't verify if the file is free or under copyright, also here is under copyright. Buenos días Manuelt15. Me dirijo a ti como usuario en español y ante alguna duda de interpretación que me ha surgido. He tenido un debate con un administrador, pero me temo que mi inglés no sea lo suficientemente bueno para expresarme o para comprender las normas. En su momento subí algunas fotos colgadas en la página web del Ministerio del Interior de España, en la cual se indica expresamente lo siguiente: Se prohíbe la reproducción total o parcial de los contenidos de esta Web sin citar su origen o solicitar autorización, salvo en las páginas en las que se indica expresamente otra circunstancia http://www.mir.es/aviso_legal.html. Mi inglés no es gran cosa, pero creo que mi castellano sí y aquí dice lo que dice: No se prohibe la reproducción. Se prohibe la reproducción sin citar su origen. Es decir, se permite la reproducción citando el origen. Castellano puro y duro. Por eso subí las fotos bajo licencia CC-BY-SA 3.0 que, hasta donde he podido entender, permite la reproducción atribuyendo el trabajo en la manera especificada por el autor. Vamos, lo que exige el Ministerio del Interior: Citar la fuente. Y es lo que hice. Pues, bien, un administrador cuestiona la legitimidad de esas fotos en Wikimedia. A mayor abundamiento, la Ley 37/2007, de 16 de noviembre, sobre reutilización de la información del sector público [6] establece en su artículo 4 que los documentos de las Administraciones y organismos del sector público serán reutilizables en los términos de esta Ley. Es decir, existe un mandato legal e imperativo a los poderes púbicos de manera que necesariamente, sus documentos (incluidas fotos) son reutilizables aunque los organismos pueden imponer ciertas condiciones. En el caso del Ministerio del Interior, citar la fuente. Me parece que con la ley en la mano el tema está claro como el agua, pero puedo estar equivocado, desconociendo a fondo el funcionamiento de Wikimedia Commons. Te pido, por favor, que me aclares el tema y si te parece, medies en la discusión Commons:Deletion requests/File:Magdalena Alvarez.jpg. Gracias de antemano. Permisos OTRS.

Hola Manuel soy Sebastián (sebabombero51), un usuario argentino. He subido a Wikimedia Commons la foto de Bradley Manning con licencia libre ya que en el sitio de donde la conseguí aclaraban que la foto ha sido liberada al dominio público. La cuestión es que otros usuarios creen conveniente borrar dicha foto porque no se puede estar seguro que la foto, efectivamente, sea libre de usar pues no hemos podido contactar con el autor. Una alternativa era ponerle permisos OTRS pero al parecer tampoco se puede, según lo que entiendo en esta página de discusión. Entonces mi consulta sería, ¿podrías interceder vos como usuario OTRS para ver si, en el caso que no pueda contactar al autor, es posible de alguna manera otorgarle esos derechos? Those images were verified after they were uploaded and it was confirmed those images were under a free, commercial-allowable license, and not only by a bot and uploaders, but by a trusted user too. CC licenses are irrevocable, so yes, these images are okay for commercial reuse. --Màñü飆¹5 talk 07:23, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
