Blanking the vehicle "maker" badge

Hi Lionel, Please don't blank vehicle "maker" badges, It makes identifying vehicles alot harder to identify (I was only able to identify this van thanks to the front grille!), It'd be like me uploading an image of a BMW and blanking the BMW symbol - It's pointless .... So please stop ?, Thanks & Happy editing, –Davey2010Talk 19:13, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

@Davey2010: Hi. Thank you for having identified this truck. Actually I never blank the maker's badges. There is no reason do to so since it is authorised on Commons. And when I want to hide something, I blur it, I don't put a unifom color on it. So I was quite suprised by your message and, at first, I thought someone had made a new version of my picture with the badge blanked. But, there is only my version in the file history... So I went back to the original picture on my hard drive and the badge is not there either! I made several pictures of the same truck and, on all of them, something is blocking the badge! So, it appears that this company is masking the badge on their trucks with a piece of metal(?) for some very strange reason :-) Maybe a legal one because this truck was modified from the original? I can only speculate as I have no information on that point... It would be interesting to understand why they do that! Regards. Lionel Allorge (talk) 19:41, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
Hi Lionel, I sincerely apologize as you're absolutely correct they have removed the badge for some reason - I've just come across this image which appears to be the exact same van and again missing the badge (Kinda pointless when one can still identify the van ),
Some editors do mess about with images which is kinda why I assumed you had but I was obviously wrong so I apologize :)
Thank you for uploading here and Keep up the great work :), Thanks & Happy editing :) –Davey2010Talk 20:49, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Candle face in tree

Salut,

Merci d'avance,

--Triskael (talk) 11:23, 16 February 2017 (UTC)

Bonne continuation. Lionel Allorge (talk) 13:00, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
