Struyten

Ik las op de wiki pagina dat de gemeente Oude- en Nieuwe Struyten ooit bij Nieuw-Helvoet werd toegevoegd. Hoe gaan wij dit aan pakken? Komt de woontoren te staan in Struyten of Nieuw-Helvoet, voegen wij alleen oude gebouwen uit de periode waarin deze gemeente bestond toe? Of alleen gebouwen die in het dorp Nieuw-Helvoet staan, of daar doormidden van wegen direct aan vast zitten? Persoonlijk zou ik de moderne gebouwen alleen indelen onder Hellevoetsluis en de oude gebouwen ook onder Hellevoetsluis (vesting), Nieuw-Helvoet en Nieuwenhoorn. Maar alleen de aparte historische gebouwen, niet een panorama of landschap van verschillende oude en nieuwe gebouwen bij elkaar.

PS: Ik ben van plan om veel meer foto's toe te voegen als dit mogelijk is, dus zo'n indeling lijkt mij redelijk. Hellevoetfotoshoot (talk) 04:59, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Dag Hellevoetfotoshoot, Gisteren dacht ik dat u nieuw was. Nu ik hier uw handtekening zie, heb ik mijn grote twijfels. Hoe begint dat met foto’s eerst is er maar één een één categorie.

De polders Oude- en Nieuwe Struyten waren als ‘waterschap’ zelfstanding (met wapen), maar volgens mij geen zelfstandige gemeente. De samenvoeging naar een 'Hellevoetsluis' was er voor de grote herindeling van 1980. Ik weet niet of er in Hellevoetsluis voor 1980 intern met de deelgemeentegrenzen is verschoven. De buiten grenzen ontstonden deels in 1980.

Het dorp Nieuwenhoren is voor mij duidelijk. Zoals je al zag staat een oud huis aan de Moriaanseweg voor mij in Nieuw-Helvoet. Op oude ansichtkaarten staat Nieuw- Helvoet en bij het Streek Archief VPR staan afbeeldingen ook onder Nieuw-Helvoet. (Thuis zeggen we nog steeds Hellevoet) Maar nu het gedeelte wat de Kooistee wordt genoemd, hoe moet dat. De Kooistee is weg, de polder heet Kouwennoord en was gemeente Nieuwenhoorn. De Kerkestee hoorde volgens mij bij Nieuwenhoorn.

Maar hoe nu. Bij genealogie zet ik Nieuwenhoren, Hellevoetsluis. Oude foto’s zouden ook zo moeten, met daar bij de wijk waar het nu is tussen haakjes. Het valt dan in twee categorieën, de wijken hebben (zolang daar niet meer dan ± 20 afbeeldingen van zijn) geen eigen categorie. En ik denk dat dat ook zo met de nieuwe foto’s moet. Dan kunnen de oude plaatsen tussen haakjes en de plaatjes wel in twee categorieën. Het is voor mij al nadenken, laat staan voor iemand die nieuw is. Personen die zich in historie verdiepen en de streek niet kennen moeten in zo’n ‘nieuwe plaats’ niet de weg kwijt raken.

Dus volgens mij is er met de Struyten niet zo’n groot probleem. Gewoon (Nieuw Helvoet) De naam van de polders bleef het zelfde. Kooistee en Vlotbrug is voor nieuwe bewoners wat onbegrijpelijk. Vlotbrug was wel een eigen gemeenschap, waar ook de kinderen uit de polder Kouwennoord naar school en verenigingen gingen.

Een foto van nu in de polder de Goote bv de Sluisweg en dan alleen Hellevoetsluis vind ik veel te ruim en om je te oriënteren, een speld in een hooiberg.

Wikimedia Nederland stelt er hier 100 van beschikbaar voor alle uploaders van de afbeeldingen. Geef op de bijgevoegde link je naam en adres en we sturen je kosteloos een exemplaar toe, als dank voor je deelname! Let op: op = op!! Bestel hier één kalender per adres.

Ook dit jaar zal er in september weer een Nederlandse Wiki Loves Monuments plaatsvinden, als onderdeel van de internationale wedstrijd. Meer informatie vind je tegen die tijd op http://www.wikilovesmonuments.nl/.

Hallo Lidewij,

Als je categorieën aanmaakt voor Rijksmonumenten waarvan de naam niet bekend is zou je dan het adres willen gebruiken? Dus bijvoorbeeld: Category:Dwingelerweg 9 of Category:Dwingelerweg 9, Ansen als er in een andere plaats ook een Dwingelerweg is.

Beste Bas, nee zeker niet. Ik was net al aan een bericht je begonnen naar Rudolphous. Om te vragen of ik de straat namen van mijn foto's mag veranderen in een nummer. Na september 2011 heb ik bewust geen monument meer toegevoegd. In mijn gemeente zijn meerdere boerderijen afgebrand (vraag Gouwenaar) en ik heb geen idee wat mijn aandeel is wanneer een door mijn toegevoegde boerderij afbrand. Ik maakte net bijna weer de zelfde fout, want het is natuurlijk logisch zo'n straat met huisnummer. Ik voeg ook geen brons (beelden enz) meer toe. Ik ben benieuwd naar je reactie. Zonder mijn reactie af te wachten heb je al actie ondernomen zie ik. Ik ga wat anders doen, dat wiki gebeuren is zonde van mijn tijd.

Sorry, maar ik had de namen inderdaad alvast uniform gemaakt. Van de brandproblemen was ik niet op de hoogte, het is echter onhandig overal andere naamsystematiek te gebruiken. De vraag in hoeverre we maatregelen moeten nemen tegen misbruik van informatie die op Wikipedia gezet wordt is een lastige vraag. Basvb (talk) 00:40, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Ok de bestanden zijn hernoemd. Commonscats komen volgens mij niet in Google terug. Als iemand wil zal het altijd lukken adressen te achterhalen (in de database van de RCE staat ook een adres gekoppeld aan het rijksmonumentnummer, deze database linken we ook). Was de pyromaan overigens niet al opgepakt Lidewij? Ik had dit verhaal namelijk eerder ook van Gouwenaar gehoord en toen begreep ik dat uit nieuwsberichten. Basvb (talk) 00:49, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Dear Lidewij C J.,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

• In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
• In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

1. 157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
2. In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.

Persoonlijk?

Beste Lidewij, op Commons:Deletion requests/File:Villa met houten veranda en beklede geveltop, ramen met roedenverdeling en luiken, tuin rondom - Griendtsveen - 20401742 - RCE.jpg zeg je "wake up". Dit komt onaardig over. Merk dat de beschrijving van het monument fout was (welke ik heb aangepast nu). Het adres was niet het adres van een monument. Om dan te zeggen "wordt wakker" kan ik niet waarderen. Ik doe enkel wat mij het beste lijkt en om dan mijn werk beloond te zien met "wake up" is simpelweg niet aardig. Verder valt me op dat jou enige volgende bijdrage in 10 miljoen paginas een antwoord is op een andere bijdrage van mij in de laatste paar dagen. Op Commons:Deletion requests/File:Wooden-walkboard-300.jpg. Het komt op mij over alsof je specifiek mijn bijdragen hebt bekeken. Kijk in dat geval alsjeblieft goed naar mijn bijdragen, en zie dat ik het beste voor heb en Commons verbeter, net zoals ik File:Villa met houten veranda en beklede geveltop, ramen met roedenverdeling en luiken, tuin rondom - Griendtsveen - 20401742 - RCE.jpg heb verbeterd. -- Taketa (talk) 07:12, 22 November 2014 (UTC)

Beste Taketa, beide pagina's waren aanwezig op de overlegpagina van Multichill. Ik heb grote belangstelling voor de foto's van de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed. Er is nog heel wat werk te doen. Het zijn ook niet al hun foto's die hier geplaatst zijn. Eens is er al een schifting gemaakt. Alle foto's van de RCE hebben een culturele waarde. Wanneer John zo'n foto ter verwijdering voorstelt, zie ik dat als een beginners fout. Echter wanneer iemand die hier thuis is, bij een verwijder nominatie van een foto van de RCE schrijft, "seems to be out of scope" heb ik daar wat moeite mee. Sorry. Bij de foto's kan de beschrijving niet kloppen, maar het zijn foto met (soms verdwenen) cultureel erfgoed. Met vriendelijke groet, --Lidewij (talk) 19:51, 5 December 2014 (UTC)

Hoi Lidewij, bedankt voor je antwoord. Dat stelt gerust. Ik kan me voorstellen dat je enige aanstoot neemt aan mijn opinie over een foto van de RCE. Zoals je kunt zien had ik terughoudendheid over mijn opinie en heb daarom mijn opmerking als "comment" geschreven om feedback te creëren ipv als "delete". Ik zou niet meteen tot delete over zijn gegaan, maar wilde enkel een punt dat nog niet was benoemd opmerken. Ik denk dat instanties zoals de RCE fouten kunnen maken. Ik heb er reeds teveel gezien van de RCE. Ik nam aan dat in dit geval de foto de fout was. Uiteindelijk bleek dat de beschrijving de fout was. Iets aannemen had ik niet moeten doen.
