OK, thanks now I understand the issue: others can use the photo too. I think that is not allowed to our license. Can I remove the uploaded image File:Tag anything you like.jpg?

Hi Leeuwenborchweide,
you need to have the rights of all single images used in File:Tag anything you like.jpg or you'll have to show where you did take them from. Otherwise it's a derivative. --Túrelio (talk) 14:39, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Let's keep the discussion here. You wrote: "We confirmed with the actual drawer we have payed for each photograph. + we are allowed to use it in external publication." So far so good. But you licensed this image as public domain (and it would be effectively the same or very similar if you had used a more restrictive license), that means: everybody can take your image, cut out (crop) any one of the single images with people, for example, and use these cut-out images for any purpose, perfectly legal. Are you and are your photographers aware of that and did agree to that? --Túrelio (talk) 15:01, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.BotMultichillT 05:58, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
