I like your image "Stack effect". However, it would be better if you could somehow indicate on the pressure gauges whether the gauge dials move clockwise or counter clockwise with increasing pressure. As the image is now, it is difficult to see that the guage dials at the chimney bottom are reading a lower absolute pressure than the gauge dials at the top of the chimney.

Perhaps you could simply add a note saying "The dials move clockwise with increasing pressure".

Wikipedia Puzzle Does Not Convert

Your Wikipedia puzzle graphic has recently (October 2008) been replaced. The new version by Victormoz does not convert from svg format to other graphic formats. The conversions become all black shadows of the svg image. Your original svg image does not have that conversion problem. I'm not a graphic format expert so I don't know why. I thought you'd like to know. -Mike Russell

Air Pressure Inside/Outside Chimmeny

Hi Like your Diagram. Just wondering, you show the pressure in the chimney and outside as equal, although your text says they are not. Text is correct wodering does Diagram need eed correction?
