I don't understand, about those 4 files (File:CadranSolaire SocleGravé PhotoPaulSchott.jpg, File:CadranSolaire PhotoPaulSchott.jpg, File:CadranSolaire Decouverte PhotoPaulSchott.jpg, File:CadranSolaire BlocGnomonique PhotoPaulSchott.jpg) ... I've uploaded for Paul Schott, owner of them (because he insn't able to do it -old man lost with Wiki and Commons) after he send me pictures by mail and I asked him to send a mail to OTRS (permissions-commonsATwikimedia.org). This mail I recieved from him had OTRS adress and mine, sent in a raw, on March, 5, 2013 at 11:36 am GMT (I can send you a copy if needed, I still have it). I hope you can find it back. Hello, the main problem is that there is just no license template on the image description pages. Any image on commons needs a valid license template decribing its copyright status and needs to be freely useable by anybody in the world for any purpose - see Commons:Licensing and Commons:Copyright tags. But it looks like the the source pages reserving all rights reserved which forbits an reuseage.
See the bottom of each source page. You would need to find out the original fotografer, i.e. by contacting the source page webmasters, and ask them to write an email to the commons support team - see Commons:OTRS or Commons:OTRS/es - and release these images under a free license. How delete?

Dear JuTa!

In a situation when someone illustrated the article, and the inserted file is questionable, I would be for the deletion. Because more data can not currently be found. And in general this will not be easy. Unfortunately, I could not see how to delete the exacly this file inserted by me.

Löschung

Hallo, JuTa, wenn ich das richtig sehe, hast Du die beiden Dateien Gestaltungsraster2.jpg und ...3.jpg [7] gelöscht. Ich weiß zwar beim besten Willen nicht mehr, was ich damals in den Dateiinfos angegeben habe, aber die Teile habe ich selbst gebastelt und die verwendeten Bilder sind unkenntliche Ausschnitte eigener Bilder. Ich bin Schriftsetzer und selbständiger Grafiker, diese Sachen brauche ich nirgendwo runterzuladen, das ist tägliches Brot. Könntest Du die Bilder wiederherstellen oder noch mal in irgendeiner Form zur Ansicht stellen, demit ich ggf. Dateiinfos nachtragen kann. Hallo Sozi, nun da Stand nur "Erstellt von: Rüdiger Hof". Daraus war nicht ersichtlich ob Du Rüdiger Hof bist und falls nicht dieser einer Veröffentlichung unter {{GFDL}} {{Cc-by-sa-3.0-migrated}} {{Cc-by-sa-2.5,2.0,1.0}} zugestimmt hat.
Frage: Bist Du Rüdiger Hof?
Falls ja, stell ich die Dateien wieder her. Aber bitte danach die Dateibeschreibungssite ändern und eine möglichst vollständig ausgfüllte Vorlage {{Information}} verwenden. Warum löschst du meine Datei?

Kannst du mir vielleicht mal erklären, warum du meine Datei File:Paul Salamon (1995) by Guenter Prust.jpg löschst?? Ich hatte mit dem Fotografen E-Mail-Kontakt und er hat mir versichert, dass ich seine Bilder unter den so angegebenen Linzenen bei Wikimedia Commons veröffentlichen darf. Hallo, zunäccht war dort leider gar keine Lizenzvorlage, jede Datei auf Commons muss eine solche enthalten. Eine Liste dieser Vorlagen findest Du unter Commons:Copyright tags. Dann müsste, bei nicht selbst geschossenen Fotos, der Fotograf eine sog. Freigabemail an das Support-Team schicken - siehe Commons:OTRS bzw. Commons:OTRS/de. Möglicherweise reicht es hier wenn Du die Mail des Fotogafen dorthin weiterlitest. Wenn das OTRS-Team dann mit der Freigabe "zufrieden" ist wird die Datei wiederhergestellt. Hallo, die Kategorien hab ich korregiert, die sind auf englisch hier. Und zur Signatur: da gibt es oben in der editbox ein Icon mit einem Stift, das erzugt eine Signatur oder ersatzweis vier sog. Hallo JuTa,

Letzter Zeit habe ich schwierigkeiten auf den Wikimediaserver zu kommen. Ich fühle mich verantwortlich für die Kategorie "Clock", die ich über CatScan erreichen möchte, damit ich die jeweilige Änderungen sehen kann. (https://toolserver.org/~daniel/WikiSense/CategoryIntersect.php?wikifam=commons.wikimedia.org&basecat=clocks&basedeep=6&mode=rc&hours=100&go=Scannen&format=html&userlang=de). Als Antwort bekomme ich ständig (Database Error: User 'daniel_www' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: 15) on sql-s4/commonswiki_p) oder eine ähnliche Mitteilung. Leider weiß ich nicht was ich machen soll, oder auf wen ich mich direkt wenden kann. Nun habe ich es bei dir probiert, vieleicht kannst du mir helfen, oder leite meinen Frage an anderen Admin weiter. GIS-basemap-fort.png possible deletion

file in question

To be honest, I've tried making the changes and they just don't seem to work (probably not doing it right). I'm also having issues finding the exact templates to use. The GIS image comes from the GIS Department of the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The GIS map website (where the image came from) is here. The GIS Department says "The City of Murfreesboro GIS Department provides mapping services for city departments and the public...intended for public use and continued access..." which can be found here. Hi, any image on commons has to be even commercialy reusaable by anybody in the world. You could either ask the copyright holder to release it unter a free license - a recommanded license is {{Cc-by-sa-3.0}} - by sending an email to the commons support team - see Commons:OTRS. Or you could try to repuload it unter so called fair use to the english wikipedia - if needed there - see en:Wikipedia:Fair use. regards --JuTa 08:04, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Please revert or check with the OTRS volunteer

Please see User_talk:Jcb#OTRS_ticket_.232013050210011398 I checked with the OTRS volunteer, and it looks like he agrees with me putting the OTRS number on the relevant files and cat. It would be rather tedious for him to place the number on a file every time somebody uploads a picture of the covered statues (and there could be 1,000s of these pix being uploaded in the near future). Please note that I requested and sent on the OTRS ticket from Thomas Marsh, so I am very familiar with the contents. I'll suggest that you assume good faith on this, or explain to User:Jcb why he has to do this himself, or give me a link to the rule that you are (sort of) citing. Any help appreciated. Hi, if the image (the drawing -i guess it is File:મૂળદાસ.jpg) is very old, you should provide a valid source (web pag, book or similar) use the correct date of creation of the drawing. The link you provided seems to be some kind of google search result. Thats normaly not a good source link. The image is not a photo but a painting, and that could b painted in much younger time than the person lived, and thus might be still copyright protected. Just wait. The OTRS volounteer will set {{Permission OTRS}} if he/she is happy with the release or {{OTRS received}} if he has addional question or similar. You will get an mail by them in this case. And please be patient this process can takes weeks because there is normaly a huge backlog. --JuTa 23:18, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Actually you did. But as far I could find you are not an OTRS volounteer, so I reverted you. If you are a volounteer please provide me a link which confirms it. Name the files and the ticket number as you did it here. Some of them are admins as well and can undelete them. If not they or you can contact me after confirmation that the release is valid. Not sure I understand you : What have filenames got to do with that? I think you'd better provide them with the rationale from the deleted files (source & author information.) It's more relevant. I mean, how the volunteers suppose to check the file names, if the letter of consent, contained just photos without descriptions (I saw it, because I helped the copyright holders to compose it.) — George Serdechny 08:44, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

Images of Javanese letters

Hi Alteaven, compared with the other files in Category:Javanese alphabet you should use template {{JG Aksara Jawa}}. Just replace the {{Remove this line and insert a license instead|year=2013|month=05|day=25}} with {{JG Aksara Jawa}} and remove the {{no license|month=May|day=26|year=2013}} in the first line in all image description pages. regards. --JuTa 18:26, 27 May 2013 (UTC)

Fine, but you left the {{no license|month=May|day=26|year=2013}} on the top of the desription files. There is still a high risk that an admin will delete these files one week after I tagged them. Pls. try to fix this yourself, or ask m here for more assistance. I'm going to upload a picture of various Javanese font comparison. JG Aksara Jawa, Tuladha Jejeg (I already ask the author's permission), my own font, and two others which I found on the net. That could get a bit complicated. All copyright holder should agree to the same license(s). That should be documented through the Commons:OTRS process. A recommanded license is {{Cc-by-sa-3.0}}. pls. set template {{OTRS pending}} as sonn you know that the mail8s) has been sent to the OTRS team. --JuTa 22:17, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
Maybe I should just separate each font image? And btw, File:Rekan dza.png was deleted, although it was my intention for File:Tha mahaprana.png.
