STOP the Vandalism[edit]

  • Hello How are you? .. There are some notes about the changes that you have made, I hope we discussed before making any changes.

1. Russia: is not a christian majority country according to most reliable, accurate, and independent sources: Arena - Atlas of Religions and Nationalities in Russia, 2012 Survey Maps

2. France: According to a 2011 survey by en:Ipsos MORI, only 45% of the French are Christians

3. Eritrea: only 43% are Christians according to the the United States Department of State

4. UKRAINE: according to most reliable survey, 62.5% don't belong to any chruch, and only 34% are christians.

5. Norway: According to the most recent Eurobarometer Poll 2010, Only 22% of Norwegian citizens responded that "they believe there is a God".[1]

6. Ghana: only 24% are christians [2]

7. Togo: only 29% are christians [3], According to the CIA Factbook, approximately 29% of the population is Christians

8. Benin: only 30% are christians [4]

Furthermore, according to studies by "Dentsu Communication Institute" and "Phil Zuckerman" about the spread of atheism:

  1. Dentsu Communication Institute provides data for respondents who stated they have "no religion".
  2. Phil Zuckerman uses only the number "atheist or agnostic".

- Russia: 48% of the Russians have "no religion" [Dentsu]. 24–48% of the Russians are atheists or agnostic [Zuckerman]. - Sweden: 25% of the Swedish have "no religion" [Dentsu]. 46–85% of them are atheists or agnostic [Zuckerman]. - Belgium: 35% [Dentsu]. 42–43% [Zuckerman]. - Czech Republic: 64% [Dentsu]. 54–61% [Zuckerman]. - France: 43% [Dentsu]. 43–54% [Zuckerman]. - Germany: 25% [Dentsu]. 41–49% [Zuckerman]. - Hungary: 43% [Dentsu]. 32–46% [Zuckerman]. - Netherlands: 55% [Dentsu]. 39–44% [Zuckerman].

Furthermore, according to "Phil Zuckerman", 31–44% of the population in UK are either atheists or agnostic, and 31–72% of the population in Norway are either atheists or agnostic.

en:Irreligion by country

Next time, I hope you discuss before making any edit

What you doing is selecting the sources that are compatible with your couches:

For example You choose the source by CIA - The World Factbook, for France while you ignored the same survey for Russia, Tanzania, New Zealand, Benin, Togo, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, and Suriname (by the same source there is only 19.5% christians in Russia, 44.3% christians in New Zealand, 30% christians in Tanzania, 42.8% christians in Benin, 29% christians in Togo, 40% christians in Cameroon, 25% in Zimbabwe, 46% Suriname).

1. Russia: this is the most reliable and comprehensive and neutral survey about religion in Russia: [7] [8] in 2012. [nothing is going to change from 2012 to 2014]. furthermore, the two surveys of "Dentsu Communication Institute" and "Phil Zuckerman" about the spread of atheism assert that 48% of the Russian population are atheist and have no religion. Moreover, CIA-the-world-fact book asserts that only 19.5% of the Russia population are christians.

2. Norway, UK, Sweden, France and Germany: are all atheists-secular countries... and christianity is the fastest dying religion in all of them. the two surveys of "Dentsu Communication Institute" and "Phil Zuckerman" about the spread of atheism mentioned that ~50% of the population in these countries are atheists or don't have any religion.

the sources of the map:

you still selecting the sources:

By the Way according to CIA - The World Factbook (you use it for the map) Russia (19.5%).

I hope we discussed before making any changes.

Please stop vandalism that you do and selecting sources.
By the Way according to CIA - The World Factbook (you use it for the map) there is only 19.5% christians in Russia, 44% christians in New Zealand, 30% christians in Tanzania. and the same about Benin, Togo, Cameroon ,.... you just selecting sources.
For Russia, this is the most comprehensive survey 2012 Survey Maps , Arena - Atlas of Religions and Nationalities in Russia ... you are just ignoring it.
and you really need to read the "en:Irreligion by country" article as well as reading about the spread of atheism in Europe. And particularly in Norway where only 22% of the entire population believe that God exists: (see: en:Irreligion in Norway)
According to the most recent Eurobarometer Poll 2010, only 22% of the population in Norway believe that God exists [9]. And you are just ignoring these sources and selecting what you want to select.

and you admitted by the way that Pew study is back to 2011, while Arena - Atlas of Religions and Nationalities in Russia is from 2012 and Arena is much more comprehensive as well.

Next time, don't add Russia, Norway, Tanzania, NewZealand, Benin, Togo, Cameroon, Eritrea, ......etc, and let's discuss before making any change.

STOP the Vandalism that you are doing, and Stop selecting sources! why don't you read what I write? read it again and Stop selecting sources and vandalizing!

1- you should never add Russia at all. It is not a christian country according to CIA - The World Factbook (you use it for the map). You can't select what you want to select and ignore what you want to ignore. The CIA - The World Factbook (you use it for the map) asserts that Russia is not a christian country. Furthermore, you can't ignore the most comprehensive study about the religion in Russia in 2012: Arena - Atlas of Religions and Nationalities in Russia which asserts that Russia is not a christian country. Here are the maps of the survey of Arena : 2012 Survey Maps. It is most comprehensive and reliable study. in addition to all this, you are strictly recommended to read the article en:Irreligion by country in order to realize that 48% of the Russian population are atheists; which means that Russia is absolutely not a christian country.

once you agree on Russia, we may discuss the rest.. and next time: don't make any change before discussion.

Russia first, then the rest. i will write it once again: (you should agree on Russia first, then we may discuss the rest)...

this change proves that you have a program to change the colors of the map, which means that you just lied when you said that you don't have a program... [i know all christians are supposed to lie according to their religion].

Next time, you should discuss first.

I may discuss anything except Russia. You just cannot ignore the comprehensive survey of Arena which is most comprehensive and reliable survey in this issue.
I say it once again: YOU CANNOT IGNORE THE SURVEY OF ARENA which is most comprehensive and reliable survey about "religion in Russia": 2012 Survey Maps.

Gosh, Jobas, is that all you? Lotje (talk) 06:31, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Message you left on my user talk page[edit]

I'm not involved in any of the matters which you discussed, and I'm not an administrator, so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do about it. However, users B88 and B88-2 certainly don't seem to be playing a useful role at File:Christian world map.png... -- AnonMoos (talk) 21:47, 17 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
