SVG Chart

Hi, it seems that the template SVG Chart is not being maintained anymore. I found the instructions a bit cryptic and I note that in the last few years, there are only a few posts on the talk page, most of which have gone unanswered. Should this page perhaps be marked historical or deprecated or something? I also see a reference to "another SVG generator that is under development" from 2015, do you know what/where that is? Alternatively, do you know of a better way to create SVG charts that can easily be updated by laypeople? I have tried various pieces of software, but they all produce SVG files that have completely unreadable source code (for humans). I really like the idea of this SVG Chart template... Is it true that the Graph extension needs to be applied to every language wiki separately as claimed on the same talk page? KarlFrei (talk) 09:04, 5 February 2020 (UTC)

@KarlFrei: Hi. Thanks for asking, but I have no good answers for you. I transferred your post to COM:GL/I#SVG Chart.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 14:47, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
File:047- Franz Fiedler, c. 1910.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

images

Hi Jeff G., I was wondering if you could take a look at these images. Self-promotion or userpage images? Thank you for your time. :-) Lotje (talk) 13:44, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

@Lotje: Thanks for the notice. I warned the user and tagged both of his uploads, as he is NOTHERE.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 19:00, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Hi Jeff G! It wasn't me who requested the silly rotation of that file. I haven't been doing anything on Wikimedia Commons for months, and I have no idea, how my name got on this page. --HAL-Guandu (talk) 08:44, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

@HAL-Guandu: Then someone must have used your account to make that edit. Please secure your account.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 14:02, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Invisible file

Thanks for your help, but I was referring to File:St Michaels Church Surry Hills 060.jpg. In the Category, it is blank. When I click on it, I get the message Cannot find this file, or something similar. The file you looked at appears to be 065.jpg. Sardaka (talk) 09:01, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

@Sardaka: It works for me, please see COM:FAQ#PURGE.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 13:41, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

your contact to me on PCjr page

none
I posted a picture I took of my own computer.

Please contact me directly why you are expressing concern. bptdude@hotmail.com - Joe

@Bptdude: Why is the photo so small? Why does it have borders? Are you the computer operator? Why do you think the ST225 had a SCSI interface, rather than MFM? Do you have permission from Interplay Productions to reproduce their Battle Chess graphics?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 09:00, 17 February 2020 (UTC)

It is none of your business if the photo seems small to you. It looks fine to me.

It is not your concern if I choose to put a nice border on a photo. Do your photos how you like, leave me alone.

The computer operator is my family, and now dead. None of your business. If they have an issue, they can complain themselves.

I built this computer, so I know how it works, including the hard drives. You have no idea how it works, and it is none of your business.

The screen shot is not even readable, I'm sure they don't care. Neither should you. They know where to find me. If they complain, we'll deal with it then.

Do you really have nothing better to do in life? — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 97.80.117.198 (talk) 11:37, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
