- Félicitations! La promotion n'a pas traîné! Ce n'est pas tant par l'œuvre elle-même que j'ai été séduit (quoi qu'il s'agisse d'un très beau buste), que par l'angle que tu as choisi pour la "capter". On a le sentiment qu'elle s'est retournée, surprise, à ton appel, et que tu as saisi son expression apeurée juste à ce moment-là. - Les photos ont été supprimées de Commons. Ont-elles été transférées sur Wikipédia ? En ce qui me concerne, j'aimerais que seules mes images de 2012 y figurent, une avait été faite il y a deux ans et demi, mais c'est une horreur. JÄNNICK Jérémy (talk) 09:27, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Re: Photo requests - Louvre
Hello Marie. Many thanks for your note and your help. No worries about the delay; I would've loved to run the Investiture article, and the en:Baal with Thunderbolt article with your excellent photos on the main page, but alas :) Nevertheless, both articles would be greatly enhanced by a quality gallery of their details, which would be a great help if I try to push for GA. Tout d'abord, merci pour votre recommandation, j'ai pris cette photo de l'iguane, après avoir passé plusieurs heures dont midi. Je me cachais dans les buissons, dans un endroit où la température à midi souvent plus de 50 degrés celicius. Dans l'après-midi, a comparu ce bel animal. The new version you uploaded was undoubtedly higher-resolution, but it's not necessarily as suitable for its intended purpose as the old crop was -- it kind of has an unflattering lighting angle which highlights the crumbling away of tiny bits of the pottery, and it doesn't have a fairly tight crop on the relevant figure... - Not sure cropping would do anything about the unflattering lighting angle. The 2009 version of File:Ishtar vase Louvre AO17000-detail.jpg may not be great judged abstractly as a photograph (i.e. it would never make it as a Featured photograph), but I think it's great as an illustration to the en:Ishtar article -- and all the people who have added the image to articles on other Wikipedias apparently agree. For this purpose, soft forgiving lighting may be more useful than harsh bright lighting which reveals miniature flaws... AnonMoos (talk) 12:51, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
