Your recent contributions[edit]

Hi, Welcome to Wikimiedia Commons.

I have tagged File:S95bellringing.jpg with {{No permission since}}, because it appears to be a photograph of a poster and there is a reasonable suspicion that you do not have permission from the copyright owner of the poster. The text "published by the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers" is visible in the image and they need to provide permission. I also removed then picture from w:en:St Bene't's Church on Wikipedia, as I think that it does not merit its place there.

Photographs of modern sculpture are allowed under Freedom of panorama, but this does not apply to photographs of 2-D artwork such as posters.

I have edited File:OldSiemensposter.jpg. The author of this image is the original poster artist, and date should be when the poster was created. A faithful reproduction of a two-dimensional object does not give copyright to the photographer of the object. I have changed the copyright declaration to {{PD-UK-unknown}}{{PD-1996}}, based on an assessment that the poster was published in the UK before 1947.

In File:S95francoprussian.jpg you have specified "Source internet". It would be helpful to specify the URL of the website from which you obtained the image. The image is a clearer and higher-resolution copy of File:Prussians parade thru Paris March 1871.jpg. We don't need both images, and I suggest you upload your image as a new version of that file (click on Upload a new version of this file), and then tag your old file for speedy deletion using the {{Duplicate}} tag.

File:S95VandalizedReformationDestructionEly.jpg and File:S95ReformationDestructionEly.jpg appear to be versions of the same image with the brightness adjusted. In my view we don't need both. If you changed your mind about the brightness then you should have uploaded a new version of the original file, not a new file. You could request speedy deletion of one of them as the uploader (COM:GCSD), or issue a deletion request on this basis that it is a near-duplicate.

Please note that I am not an administrator here. Feel free to discuss these issues, either here, or at Commons:Village pump or at Commons:Village pump/Copyright.
