Het spijt me, maar dat is toch echt gezichtsbedrog, waarschijnlijk veroorzaakt door wat turbulentie in het water. Ik heb het beeld direct op de camera, geverifieerd met de werkelijkheid ter plaatse en dat bleek echt te kloppen. Gouwenaar (talk) 20:54, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ook nog even voor de zekerheid mijn aantekeningen geraadpleegd uit 2007. Ik maak bij iedere foto uitgebreid aantekeningen van de omstandigheden waaronder ze gemaakt worden. In dit geval extra uitgebreid, omdat de foto gemaakt werd als één van een reeks binnen een serie colleges en excursies over de aanleg van landschapsparken in de 19e eeuw in de noordelijke provincies. In mijn notities vond ik terug, dat ik behalve de kenmerkende vorm van de vijver voor parken in die tijd, ook de licht aflopende overzijde in beeld wilde brengen. In je notites heeft een ding ontbrken, namelijk dat je de camera scheef hield tijdens de opname. Kijk dan eens goed en leg er eens een lineaaltje langs ! 1: Een wateroppervlak is altijd precies horizontaal. 2: Een reflectie in het water moet dus precies verticaal zijn, en die van de genoemde boom is dat niet. 3: Kennelijk was Finavon het er mee eens, en dat is in mijn ogen een van de experts hier. - Erik Baas (talk) 19:02, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Neen, in mijn notities stond zelfs, dat ik een statief had gebruikt. Maar ik begrijp niet waar je je zo druk om maakt. Nou als jij dat ook zelf vindt, dan is er nog heel wat werk te verrichten. Begin daar dan eerst eens mee. Dan bouw je tenminste krediet op. Daar gaat het natuurlijk wel om. Geen haar op mijn hoofd denkt eraan om jouw foto's zogenaamd te gaan zitten 'verbeteren'. Ik ken je overwegingen niet die je maakte toen je voor een bepaalde hoek of een bepaald perspectief koos. Dan kan ik wel denken, dat het niet klopt bij jouw foto's, maar dat is wel mijn POV. Net zoals jij mijn overwegingen niet kende waarom ik het beeld maakte, zoals ik dat maakte. Als we bij elkaar alles wat in onze ogen scheef staat gaan rechtzetten, dan leidt tot imo tot een hoogst ongewenste situatie. Je had natuurlijk eerst overleg moeten plegen alvorens te gaan sleutelen. Maar dan nog waarom zou je überhaupt gaan sleutelen? Als je echte scheve foto's hier op Wikipedia wilt gaan recht zetten, dan heb je nog syfusarbeid te verrichten.   1. Klopt, er zijn er nog vele, ik heb er al vele gedaan, en ik zal het blijven doen (voor foto's die de moeite waard zijn). Bij deze was het bijzonder storend (juist vanwege het water)
  2. Overleg voor het plaatsen van een {watermark}-sjabloon is nog nooit nodig geweest.

Neen, omdat het geen verbetering is, dat probeer ik je voortdurend uit te leggen. Ik heb geprobeerd de aflopende oever in beeld te brengen en jouw wijziging maakt dat ongedaan. Als je zo graag wilt verbeteren begin dan vooral met je eigen werk. Wat een watermarksjabloon hier in vredesnaam mee te maken heeft ontgaat mij ten enenmale. Merwaardig soort typo's maak je. Het maakt de communicatie er niet gemakkelijker op. En nogmaals neem eerst je eigen werk vooral eens onder de loep. Want als je dit al storend vindt, dan moet er toch wel een lampje gaan branden als je er nog eens kritisch naar je eigen werk gaat kijken, daar heb je zelfs geen loep of lineaal voor nodig. Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
