Reliëfs[edit]

Hallo Gerardus. De laatste twee had ik al eerder gefotografeerd, maar ik kon er tweemaal niet dichtbij komen, omdat de schoolpleinen waren afgesloten (op een vrijdagmiddag en in de kerstvakantie). Gisteren lukte het beter. Overigens ook hier weer een wat triest verhaal. Oorspronkelijk waren er meer vogels, die in de loop der tijd allemaal zijn verdwenen. Als ik me niet vergis worden de scholen binnenkort gesloopt (althans daar ziet het naar uit). Ik vrees het ergste. Gouwenaar (talk) 22:12, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ja, jammer. Ik heb het idee dat reliëfs sowieso een beetje stiefmoederlijk zijn bedeeld. In de officiële lijsten van gemeentes komen ze meestal niet voor en de kunstenaars melden ze meestal ook niet. Worden ze bij sloop dan niet gered, dan is dat eigenlijk niet verbazingwekkend. Toch, zoals gezegd, jammer. Er zitten schoonheden bij. Je moet het alleen wel (willen) zien. categorie[edit]

Dag Gouwenaar, je hebt deze categorie vorig jaar aangemaakt voor foto's van de molen Grenszicht, aangezien we nu alle molens met meer dan 5 afbeeldingen in een eigen categorie zetten zijn de foto's van deze molen verplaatst naar de categorie Grenszicht. Deze categorie stond eerst onder de categorie Emmer-Compascuum, maar omdat ik 't nogal overbodig vond om een categorie te hebben met enkel een subcategorie heb ik deze hier verplaatst naar de bovenliggende categorie. Aangezien ik nogal een vage uitleg kreeg op het commons-kanaal van IRC ben ik hier maar naar je OP gekomen. Ben je nog van plan deze categorie voor andere dingen te gebruiken, of kan deze categorie verwijderd worden? Groet Silver Spoon (talk) 22:00, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ik heb indertijd de categorie Emmer-Compascuum aangemaakt om niet alles in de bulkcategorie Emmen terecht te laten komen. Tevens ligt het in mijn bedoeling om ook in het centrum van Emmer-Compascuum nog foto's te maken (o.a. beeldende kunst van Jan de Baat en Loes Heebink). Ik weet alleen niet wanneer ik daar aan toe kom. De twee afbeeldingen in een rond Emmer-Compascuum, die door mij gemaakt zijn heb ik inmiddels in deze categorie geplaatst. Waarom plaats je de Category:Grenszicht niet in Emmer-Compascuun en haal je hem weg uit Emmen. Twee vliegen in een klap. Ik ben het helemaal met je eens wat betreft de bulkcategorieën. Ik vond het alleen een beetje overbodig om een categorie te hebben met niets anders dan een subcategorie. 1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Uithuizen[edit]

Beste Gouwenaar, ik heb je foto van de preekstoel in Uithuizen gezien. Heel erg mooi! Hebt je misschien ook een foto van het Schnitger-orgel? Ik zal dat zeer op prijz stellen i.v.m. met de lijst van werken van Schnitger in de Duitse en Nederlandse Wikipedia (zie Arp Schnitger). Maple Leaf Groningen[edit]

Hallo Gouwenaar, over de maker van dit monument, Robin de Krijger, vind ik geen info (Google, RKD). Slechts een mededeling op een website Canada en Groningen 60 jaar, dat meerdere mensen betrokken waren bij dit beeld en dat ene R. de Krijger de uitvoerder was. Yes, correct in the Minervastraße, I visited Isselburg on June 23 en July 1 2009. See also [2].
