Vari argomenti[edit]

Ciao.--G.dallorto 12:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Can you remember why you wanted Image:Grgnano8.JPG deleted? It is sitting in "incomplete deletion requests" because the template was not fully filled out. Can you provide the rest of the information or take the deletion template off the picture? Thanks and regards, Deadstar 09:25, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I have replaced your deletion template with a duplicate template, quoting the filename you gave me on my talkpage. Deadstar 07:33, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roman sculptures[edit]

Bacissimi. --User:G.dallorto 16:17, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting pictures[edit]

Hi Giorces, I found a number of photographs tagged with there is a duplicate. In future, you can use name of other file when you have uploaded a file under the wrong name & reuploaded it, or otherwise name of other file. The commons deletion process is a bit different from other wikis. Kind regards, Deadstar 10:32, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Categorization[edit]

As a general practice, when an image is a category (A), which itself is in another category (B), then the image should not be placed in category B. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 03:57, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have undone your category addition of Category:Bahá'í Faith to File:Seat of the House of Justice.jpg since that file is in the Category:Seat of the Universal House of Justice category which itself is in Category:Bahá'í Arc --> Category:Bahá'í World Centre --> Category:Bahá'í places --> Category:Bahá'í Faith. Files should not be in a subcat and a supercat at the same time as I explained above. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 04:39, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Giorces!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Ciao. Grazie--Trixt (talk) 21:56, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

;) ciao e grazie --Sailko (talk) 11:44, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
