You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Freedom of Panorama in India

Hi GSS. I was just looking through your uploads... I'm not sure you are aware that Freedom of Panorama in India extends only to 3D objects like sculptures, buildings, etc. The photograph of this sign would seem to infringe on the copyright to the sign. Just wanted to give you the chance to nominate it for deletion yourself (it has happened to a lot of us, including me... nothing to be embarrassed about!) No worries... but FYI G7 is only for recently uploaded unused photos. Additionally, since FOP-related deletions can be undeleted if the law changes (which does actually happen from time to time), they should usually have a full DR so that it can be categorized into Category:Indian FOP cases/deleted. No doubt the admin trawling through the CSD category will convert it to a DR for you, but just wanted you to be aware so that you aren't surprised by the notification. Tagging copyvios

Hi, When tagging copyright violations, please inform the uploader. This is best done using the gagdet. See in your preferences to enable them, tab "Gadget", section "Maintenance tools" : "AjaxQuickDelete" and "Quick delete". tagged user pages

Hi GSS, you had tagged a number of user pages for {{speedydelete|1=Inappropriate use of user pages and out of Commons scope.}}. I've taken the liberty to revert that for some of them, when the user had at least a few non-ego uploads, i.e. not related to him/her and in scope, and when the entry was justed like "XY is a .... in ...town.", as I find this acceptable for contributors. In some of those accepted user pages I've removed links to external pages and further praise, as they could be considered promotional. That's okay Túrelio, but those pages looked out of commons scope to me and that was the reason for tagging them for deletion and I still believe this one is not even close to what COM:USERPAGE required. GSS (talk) 12:04, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

@Túrelio: Thanks! what you think about this one? The user is inactive since 2016 and indefinitely blocked on ru-wiki. The userpage sound promotional to me and has nothing about their contribution. GSS (talk) 15:06, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

Looks complex on first view. He might even merit an own article in Wikipedia! Also his uploads seem to be sort of scientific research. Oh, he actually has an (small) article at en:Aleksei Yeryomin. As you know already, the patrolling functionality is enabled for all edits, not just for new-page creations. This enables us to keep track of, for example, edits made by anonymous users here on Commons.

You told me that the Grace Wan photo has been marked for speedy deletion because of a copyright violation. I don't think it is, especially because I wrote that it's from IMDB.
