Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.

photos of sculptures[edit]

Hi Funkyxian, I have tagged several of your uploads erroneously as FoP-Nederland, because your description was in Dutch. But, now I see that at least some are from Belgium, which has no FOP-exception. So, we need information in which country the following images were taken.

For the following images, we need information about the original artist (year of death or installation of sculpture)

Ik upload het hele jaar door foto's van erfgoed zoals het mij uitkomt. Ik ben niet echt geïnteresseerd in een wedstrijd.

Graag gedaan. Jammer genoeg heb ik nog niet alle beelden kunnen fotograferen. Die wikidata codes die u creëert, kan ik dan weer toevoegen aan de OpenStreetMap objecten.

Oh, dat is super! Hier, via deze SPARQL query, kan je de lijst kunstwerken, met Wikidata-nummer, ophalen (klikken op 'Run'). Het zou fantastisch zijn om de coördinaten daarna uit OpenStreetMap weer te exporteren en dan in Wikidata toe te voegen, maar ik weet niet of dat mogelijk is. Volgens de wikidata page op de OpenStreetMap wiki, mag Wikidata geen OSM data copiëren, vanwege licentie verschillen. Maar die pagina bevat wel een aantal andere technieken om kaarten te maken op basis van Wikidata en OSM data. Bedankt voor de SPARQL query, ik had ook al een eenvoudiger versie gemaakt. Ik heb toen ik de beelden aan het mappen was in OpenStreetMap, ook al eens een kaartje gemaakt met umap.

Met deze Overpass Query kan ik gemakkelijk zien voor welke beelden ik nog geen wikidata heb in OpenStreetMap

Kerken op Wikidata[edit]

Beste Funkyxian, naar aanleiding van jouw vraag op de mailing list ben ik even een Belgische kerk als voorbeeld op Wikidata gaan invoeren: de Wijnbergkerk van Wevelgem. Ik weet niet of dat de perfecte manier van invoeren is - we zijn nog zoekende op Wikidata - maar in elk geval is het een rijk voorbeeld (een kerk met een bekend architect, een gedocumenteerde ontwerpdatum, ze is onroerend erfgoed en kerkeninvlaanderen.be vermeldt de patroonheilige). We hebben er ook afbeeldingen en zelfs een categorie van op Commons. Ik denk dat je dit wel als voorbeeld kan gebruiken.

Ik merk dat je drie websites als bron kan gebruiken: de inventaris onroerend erfgoed, odis.be en kerkeninvlaanderen.be.

Verder vermoed ik dat niet alle Belgische architecten belangrijk genoeg zijn om een eigen item op Wikidata te krijgen, maar in dit geval waren er al items voor Dom van der Laan en Nico van der Laan (zij zijn zeker belangrijk genoeg) en ik heb ook een item aangemaakt voor Jozef Lietaert, omdat deze in een groot naslagwerk vermeld wordt (Repertorium van de architectuur in België, Mercatorfonds). Ik hoop dat dit je een beetje op weg helpt. Aarzel niet contact met me op te nemen als je vragen hebt, en een reminder te sturen in het geval dat ik je bericht even over het hoofd zou zien.
