your deletion-requests

[edit]

Hi Fotisto, removal of your name from the matedata doesn't require deletion of the file. You can simply upload the redacted version over the original upload. Thereafter notify an admin, who will then delete the 1st version. When redacting/removing your realname from the metadata, it would be nice if you could retain the rest of the metadate, i.e. the mere camera data. --Túrelio (talk) 12:51, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi
what if I want delete my images just like that, for no reason. Additionally I would like to delete myy account. How can I do this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fotisto (talk • contribs)
Ad 1) That is not possible, as you donated them to the general public and gave everybody a permission (license). Out of courtesy, we usually comply with such a wish if it is voiced a few days after upload, provided the image is not in use on a project. Ad 2) See Commons:FAQ#How_do_I_close_my_account?. --Túrelio (talk) 08:00, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
