Hello, and welcome to Commons. In relation to Commons:Bureaucrats'_noticeboard#Request_for_GWtoolset_access let me apologise on behalf of the Commons community for the display in that thread. We're really not amateurs as it clearly looks like in that thread. Best of luck, and thank you to the museum for being willing to make available your collection to Wikimedia Commons; the community thanks you. russavia (talk) 17:44, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for your message. At the moment we are rethinking our entry to Wikimedia Commons. Sincerely, Leena / Finnish Museum of Photography
- Hyvää päivää Leena! If you would like any assistance or advice going forward please feel free to contact me. Your museum has brilliant digitised images of Finnish history that would be enormously useful across our projects, and I am fully aware of your participation in Flickr's Commons. Before the museum made public its digitised inventory, File:Robert_kajanus.jpg is the photo of this famous composer that we had available on Commons. Now we have File:Robert_Kajanus_(cropped).jpg. This will be the same for many Finnish images. If there is anything I can do to help the Museum makes its participation in Wikimedia Commons definite and relatively simply, please do contact me. You can do so via russavia.wikipedia@gmail.com if you would like. Regards, (Scott) russavia (talk) 12:00, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
