Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Überschreiben von Dateien

Hallo Feudiable, du hast File:Yosemitebowline.jpg überschrieben mit einem anderen Bild. Ich werde das rückgängig machen. Bitte lade deine Version unter einem anderen Namen hoch. Bilder sollten nur nach geringfügigen Änderungen (Bildbearbeitung) überschrieben werden, nicht mit einem neuen Motiv. Gruß --тнояsтеn ⇔ 18:02, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

OK, ich find jetzt auf die Schnelle nicht, wo er dir gesagt hast, du sollst das Bild überschreiben. Trotzdem gilt das bisher geschriebene: Auch wenn die alte Darstellung nicht schön oder gar falsch ist, sollte sie nicht einfach überschrieben werden. Fehler in der Darstellung gehören dann auf die Beschreibungsseite. Dein besseres bzw. richtiges Bild lädst du bitte unter einem anderen Namen hoch. Diese Version kannst du dann auch in Wikipedia-Artikel einbauen bzw. dort die alte Version ersetzen. Wenn du dazu noch fragen hast, zögere nicht. Gruß --тнояsтеn ⇔ 18:13, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, ist schon rückgängig gemacht. Du kannst aber dein Bild noch in den alten Versionen finden: Bilddatei und die von dir eingetragenen Lizenzinfos (nicht wundern, wenn hier wieder das alte Bild erscheint). Der von dir verlinkte Benutzer:Guidobl existiert übrigens nicht. Wer hat das Bild denn erstellt? --тнояsтеn ⇔ 18:44, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Ah ok. Ich habe das bild erstellt. ich habe aber nicht einen "Guidobl" verlinkt sonder Stromber (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benutzer:StromBer). Ich versuchs dann nochmals mit dem Bild. thx --Feudiable (talk) 10:24, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Hier siehst du das mit "Guidobl": Versionsunterschied. Aber ist ja egal. Wenn du das Bild erstellt hast, bist auch du der Urheber. Also einfach deinen Namen im entsprechenden Feld beim Hochladen eintragen. --тнояsтеn ⇔ 10:37, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons has a specific scope

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
