That's actually been routine for me for the last several years (so its funny you say "you know better"). No one has really complained before. Now, usually I keep them completely uncategorized/out of view until I give them proper names, but lately I tried to give them some category location better in advance. I'm not overly concerned about the temporary names, but I would prefer that you didn't leave them with the temporary names for several months. It would also be better if you avoided moving files from one temporary name to another. AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 04:26, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

Fletcher Avenue

I would like to say thanks for correcting my silly mistake that I made naming the file. I am in Paramus, so I took Route 4 so I took it until its end at the bridge plaza, as well as Lemoine's end at Atrium Palace which I did not end up uploading. There are other factors as well that made me mix them up, but oh well we are human. I wont make those mistakes again, and I am impressed you noticed the mistake. Pennsylvania road photos revisited

Fairly recently I started sorting out many of the categories for Road signs in Pennsylvania, which you've clearly loaded up beyond the 1000 mark. This is just like what you did with Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey. Hello Famartin! Thank you for all of your beautiful photos. I noticed a while back, you posted a lot of pics of the Garden State Parkway. But did you happen to get any photos of any of the toll plazas recently? There seems to be a shortage of those. No pressure, I'm just curious.

pics categorized in wrong category

Hi there!

I found two of your pics that you named autumn crocuses which are part of the 'Colchicum autumnale' commons. These definitely are not Colchicum autumnale but something different. I don't want to bother you but Colchicum autumnale sometimes - not very often, but still - gets mixed up in spring with wild garlic. Their leaves are somehow similar. Wild garlic harvested in forests in spring is eaten really often in Mid-Europe. Unfortunately, sometimes people mix it up with Colchicum autumnale, which is HIGHLY toxic. Can you please be so kind as to re-categorise your pics? Thank you a lot!! Apart from that: Great pics!!!

Delaware Route 3 Truck

I don’t think Delaware Route 3 Truck actually exists, both the DelDOT route logs and signage consider it a part of mainline Delaware Route 3, while the part of Marsh Road that DE 3 bypasses using Edgemoor Road, U.S. Route 13 Business, and Washington Street Extension is unnumbered. I noticed you have been adding by-county categories for roads in Pennsylvania. I noticed some inconsistency for the categories for the Pennsylvania Turnpike. For example, you have “Interstate 276 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania” but “Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 276 in Montgomery County”, and Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 76 in Montgomery County” as a subcategory of “Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76 section)”. Perhaps you should make the subcategories more consistent by using “Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76 section) in Montgomery County” and “Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 276) in Montgomery County”. Broad Street Philadelphia category

I noticed you moved Category:Broad Street (Philadelphia) to Category:Broad Street (Pennsylvania Route 611, Philadelphia). I should point out that not all of Broad Street is PA 611 and not all of PA 611 in Philadelphia is Broad Street. In far North Philadelphia, PA 611 splits off onto Old York Road and Broad Street continues north unnumbered to PA 309 while in South Philadelphia Broad Street is unnumbered south of the terminus of PA 611 at I-95. Moving this category may incorrectly imply the unnumbered parts of Broad Street are part of PA 611 when they are not. Dough4872 19:11, 10 February 2023 (UTC)

That occurred to me, but I'm going to guess that there is little or no content from that small section of Broad Street on Wikimedia, so a direct transfer is probably fine. Based on what you say, it was likely incorrect to include the entire road category within Category:Pennsylvania Route 611 in Philadelphia, but you were OK with it anyway. It depends, but I could look into it. That said, I’ll be scaling back my photography for a while since my wife just gave birth to our first child, so I wouldn’t get my hopes up. PA State Highways

Hello, I do a lot of work on Wikipedia articles for Pennsylvania state highways, and noticed that most of them have photos by you. And not just any photos, but pics that clearly show the shield signs and most of them were even on sunny blue-sky days! As a PA native, I appreciate the enormous amount of travel to obscure locations that you must have done for all those pics, while scouting out good spots and probably parking somewhere else and walking to each location.
