Nim, You archived the last complain just a few minutes after the reply. And today you did the same again. You have to read and understand the policy. Don't crop other users files in that way. --Steinsplitter (talk) 12:09, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You did it with old files as well. Please revert all your crop upload of files which are not your own. --Steinsplitter (talk) 12:18, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Steinsplitter: , I have done it with a lot of images, could you please help me. I just have a lot to crop. Is that possible, thanks --Nim Bhharathhan (talk) 12:23, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed you was blocked for exactly that in the past and you has been warned before. See Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/User_problems#.7B.7Bu.7CEurovisionNim.7D.7D --Steinsplitter (talk) 12:26, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Automobiles in Indonesia[edit]

Dear EurovisionNim, please upload all the images of cars from Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia from this album:

Please upload much of the images from that Flickr album using Flickr2Commons

And please put the images on some Wikipedia pages.

Don't forget to add some categories on Wikimedia Commons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alex Neman (talk • contribs) 16:55, 22 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

CropTool[edit]

In the future, I would appreciate it if you used CropTool to crop images. This tool allows users to crop images already on Commons without having to download the images. It also makes sure that, if necessary, the file has already passed license review. It also properly links the images to one another, in case an issue with them comes up later. Elisfkc (talk) 14:53, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Elisfkc, I was previously blocked for overwriting files, so I didn't want to risk getting in deep trouble again for cropping others images. I may be wrong, but I used COM:OVERWRITE. --Nim Bhharathhan (talk) 14:54, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Right, but CropTool will let keep the original intact, and make a new one (at a different namespace) that is cropped and linked to the original. Elisfkc (talk) 14:55, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Elisfkc, could i use croptool to overwrite my own images. I was blocked, I think for overwriting files. I would like some guidance from Steinsplitter in such images that I am allowed to crop so I don't get busted again for the same error I made last year. Besides, I have now got Facebook, and suffered a breakup with my girlfriend, so it has been pretty hard going back on Wikimedia. Plus, i'm still a learner driver, and have so many exams, so I haven't been very active. Which images are acceptable for cropping (overwriting) and which are not? --Nim Bhharathhan (talk) 14:58, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to hear that. As my personal rule, I try to keep the original images intact, and then make the crop derivative with crop tool. The first example off the top of my head was how File:Dean Kamen visits Team Whiteman 160426-F-TQ704-039.jpg is the original image, and File:Dean Kamen visits Team Whiteman 160426-F-TQ704-039 (cropped).jpg is the cropped one. I did not overwrite the original image (so others can crop it how they want, and also see the original) but there is now a cropped version available. Elisfkc (talk) 15:01, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Elisfkc, that is not your upload mate. Would it be acceptable if I overwrote MY own files, that I upload and is my own work --Nim Bhharathhan (talk) 15:04, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I know it is not my upload. I am honestly not a 100% sure about overwriting your own files. That's why it is easier to do it this way, where both the original and the cropped still exist as the top version. Elisfkc (talk) 15:06, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Toyota Land Cruiser J200 interior[edit]

Can you take a picture of the second facelift of the Toyota Land Cruiser J200 please? Don't forget to take a picture of its interior and put it on English Wikipedia article. You can take that at the nearest Toyota dealer.

Thanks --Alex Neman 15:46, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have one not far from my house, I'll do my best when I meet up with my mate --Nim Bhharathhan (talk) 15:47, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Alex Neman, – You should be able to find one yourself. Why don't you take a pic of one yourself and I'll evaluate it. – Nim Bhharathhan (talk) 15:51, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
