Hi Esquilo, for this shot, you have used {{PD-UKGov}}, though the description states "An infantryman of the First U.S. Army". So, it was hardly taken by a UK soldier. In addition, where does the text of the image-description come from? And please provide a link to the IMS-page, where it is hosted. --Túrelio (talk) 10:16, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The notation on the backside was "war pool photo, serviced by London OWI to list B." I'm, not really sure what "London OWI" is, but from what I have found out it is associated with Imperial War Museum, which is a British government institution. /ℇsquilo 10:29, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. OWI here means likely this: en:United States Office of War Information (example: File:World War II woman aircraft worker, Vega Aircraft Corporation, Burbank, California 1942.jpg). So, the license-tag needs to be changed, though the PD-status got more sure now. In such cases with backside-information, you should also scan the backside and put a link to it on the image-page. --Túrelio (talk) 10:40, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sammanhanget saknas![edit]

Hej!

/ℇsquilo 16:50, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
