Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Please provide proof of a free license or public domain status on all previously-published and professional-looking works and works derived from them

The images of en:Robert Earl Hughes that you have uploaded appear to be either already-published works or derived from already-published works. Some or all of these are available for purchase at the Getty Images web site.

Please do not upload previously published works or derivative works made from them without providing proof that the work or underlying work is either in the public domain or that it has been released under a Wikipedia-compatible license.

The same goes for any image which you did not create, except in this case if it has never been published before, you may be asked to prove legal ownership of the copyright if the image appears to have been taken professionally, such as areal photographs.

In some situations, non-free images can be uploaded to various Wikipedia and other Wikimedia-projects, provided the image and its use comply with the local "non free content criteria" policy. Please use the OTRS process for "own work" for areal and historic photos

We - your fellow contributors - usually accept at face value a claim that a modern-day, previously unpublished picture taken from a place that the public generally has access to was taken by you.

When it comes to photos that are very old or photos taken from vantage points few people have access to, please use the Commons:OTRS process to authenticate that you are in fact the copyright owner. Davidwr (talk) 20:48, 16 November 2020 (UTC)
