Thanks for uploading File:The Last Minute Tour Poster.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

File:The New Morning original lineup 2016.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Copyright resolved[edit]

This photo belongs to the band and I have permission to use it for this purpose. A lot of the contributions I have made today have been needlessly flagged, seemingly to boost the editorial stats of so called reviewers. Dylanmc93 (talk) 23:39, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:The New Morning Band.png]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Automatically screwed[edit]

I have posted permission of use as I own the copyright on everything I have uploaded. I even signed the agreement/ copyright notice when uploading. And yet users/vultures are determined to delete the content for no valid reason. These are images that I own I do not have a certificate of authenticity because that doesn't exist for digital content you yourself own. This is an up hill battle with very few if any benifits. I have tried to add to the cause and better the encyclopedia, but your automated bots and trigger happy "volunteers" have corrupted the system far more than makes this resource useful. Delete or don't delete, clearly this platform is heavily bias towards the clinically insane whos only wish is to stat boost their "editorial" status. Copyright and categories[edit]

Hello 👋🏻,

I see that you commented that User:Patrick Rogel marked multiple files for deletion while spending only a few seconds on them, this could be because the files in a category were automatically included in a family of non-free files, for example if 12 (twelve) different users upload an image of an artistic balloon in one day then all images by these users have to be deleted unless the person who made the balloon 🎈 gives permission as it's a copyrighted work (although most files on Wikimedia Commons are copyrighted, when I say "copyrighted" I mean "not freely licensed"), then the nominator doesn't have to check the individual files (unless something else like de minimis applies). Also if an image isn't suitable for Wikimedia Commons you should upload it to Wikipedia where copyrighted (non-free) works are allowed under the U.S. Fair use laws. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 19:24, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, if you simply send an e-mail 📧 to the OTRS team they will automatically undelete your files if you can confirm that you are in fact the original author. After this has been done the files 📁 will automatically be undeleted and restored as you've uploaded them before. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 19:27, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
