File:AphelionApplication44.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

[edit]

First off: thank you so much! Here at Commons, we're always encountering people who claim that they're allowed to upload images from various sources, and they're almost always lying. To use an English idiom, "On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog", i.e. of course such a claim is no proof, so we have to doubt such a claim unless proof is given. It's thoroughly refreshing to work with someone like you who really does have that right and is willing and able to prove it. I've undeleted all your uploads that I had deleted before, and to prevent someone in the future from thinking that you didn't have the right to upload them, I've added to each file a link to the permissions-granted page and a link to an archived version, in case the permissions-granted page be modified or removed.

I've added these links to the following images mentioned at the permissions page:

Extended content

This leaves six exceptions:

If you have uploaded the images that I marked as "doesn't exist" (i.e. I just missed them), or if you've not yet but you upload them in the future, feel free to add the permissions links to them; it's not something that requires an administrator. The same is true if you decide to reupload the ones that I've deleted at your request. Please tell me if it is not the correct way to correct errors or clean unused files This is indeed the correct way. Please note that G7 is only meant for recently-uploaded images that aren't currently in use, so future deletions will need a deletion discussion (leave a note at my talk page if you want help with this), but right now, this is the best way. Thanks again for your help! Nyttend (talk) 14:08, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
