Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Please don't continue adding images to higher level cats, which they are already in due to the hierarchy. Each image should only be in the lowest levels of the category tree. Rename of "Aerial view of eastern National Mall - 1916 to 1921.jpg"

Hey Corker1.

Thanks for suggesting to rename this file. I do read in the description that "The Freer Gallery of Art, which began construction in 1916 and was finished in 1922, is undergoing construction to the lower-right of the Castle.". This would place the year this picture was taken after 1916. I'm wondering if it's the date in the summary which is wrong. Cheers. Badzil (talk) 14:13, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

@Badzil: The source of the photo is at www.loc.gov (Library of Congress website). The source states: "Date Created/Published: [between 1913 and 1918]". Your conclusion that the photo was taken in 1918 is consistent with the range of years within which the Library of Congresss attributed the photo and with the range of years that I suggested for inclusion in the renamed file (1913 to 1918).
