File:Delegate-Kirk-Cox-2019.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Hi, if you are the photographer of this photo, please overwrite that file with the full version (like what's shown here) with complete EXIF data. You can revert it back to the portrait version after overwriting if you want. Alternatively, you can send an email to the OTRS team and provide evidence there that you took the photo. Thanks, pandakekok9 02:56, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Requesting a deletion from the Philippines is spam[edit]

How can Pandakekok9 in the Philippines claim this photo should be deleted? Kirk Cox is a government official in Virginia and ownership can be validated by U.S. courts. Commonsensecitizen (talk) 03:13, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia Commons is a multilingual, international project, so it should come no surprise that there would be non-U.S. users here participating in deletion requests. Again, if you are the photographer of this image, you should upload the full version with complete EXIF data. Our project is strict in regards to copyright, because one of our goals is to be a free and libre media repository. If you are not the photographer or copyright holder of this image, you need to ask the real copyright holder to send an email to the OTRS team. Thanks, pandakekok9 03:32, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
And this part, ownership can be validated by U.S. courts. is interesting. Can you provide me a link to such ruling? Thanks, pandakekok9 03:35, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
