You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

In fact the attribution on Die letzten Zeugen for your photo is lousy, therefore I've added Christian Michelides as an example to the licence on the file page here. However, this would be better with enwiki Christian Michelides or its dewiki version, if it's about you. Category:Gedenksteine in Wien-Mariahilf‎[edit]

Danke Christian Michelides für die Kategorisierung. Nach http://www.erinnern-fuer-die-zukunft.at/downloads/opferliste-komplett.pdf sind das auch Gedenksteine der Organisation Category:Erinnern für die Zukunft. Verstehe ich das richtig, dass dir eine Kategorisierung nach Organisation (Steine der Erinnerung, Erinnern für die Zukunft, Stolpersteine) und eine Kategorisierung (über alle diese Organisationen) nach Örtlichkeit vorschwebt? Dann vielleicht die Kategorie auf English umbenennen?

Was ist mit den Bildern unter Category:Stolpersteine in Austria? Sind das alles von Gunter Demnig geschaffene Stolpersteine oder doch was anderes?

Gibt es in Wien eine Aufteilung nach Bezirken zwischen Steine der Erinnerung und Erinnern für die Zukunft, oder kann das auch mal überlappen?

Wenn ich das richtig überblicke, vgl. de:Stolper- und Gedenksteine in Österreich, gibt es Gedenksteine nur in Wien (von mind. fünf verschiedenen Organisationen; vier bearbeiten jeweils einen Bezirk (Landstrasse, Mariahilf, Josefstadt und Liesing), die fünfte Organisation startete in Wien-Leopoldstadt und arbeitet auch in rund zehn weiteren Bezirken), Demnigs Stolpersteine hingegen im restlichen Österreich. Geplant ist eine vollständige Erfassung aller Stolper- und Gedenksteine Österreichs nach dem Berliner Format. Das Hochladen hat eine Mitarbeiterin übernommen (User:Gedenksteine), ich kümmere mich nur um die Bereitstellung von Fotos. Wäre sehr dankbar, wenn Du Dich mit der Kollegin abstimmen könntest. Hallo @Christian Michelides and Gedenksteine: , ich wollte keineswegs, dass du dich da raus hältst. Sondern im Gegenteil, dass du dich da drum kümmerst, resp. mit deinen MitarbeiterInnen für durchgängige Beschreibungen und Kategorisierungen sorgst. Stolpersteine ist offensichtlich ein quasi markenrechtlich geschützter Begriff, gibt es einen abstrakten Oberbegriff für all die anderen? Wie hieße der auf Englisch? Und kann man die anderen in einen Topf werfen? (im Sinne von passender Abstraktion)? Die Frage nach der Doppelkategorisierung nach Organisation und Bezirk / Gemeinde musst schon du beantworten. Wenn das nur eine Arbeitsaufteilung nach Bezirken durch unterschiedliche Vereine ist, dann macht eine Unterscheidung nach Organisation wenig Sinn. lt. dem von dir zitierten Artikel wäre Gedenksteine der passende Sammelbegriff. lg --Herzi Pinki (talk) 08:15, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Theaterfotos[edit]

Hallo Christian, ich freue mich sehr über deine tollen Theaterfotos. Ich frage mich aber, wie deren urheberrechtliche Situation ist – denn in den Fotos sind ja urheberrechtlich geschützte Inszenierungen zu sehen, die von Regisseur, Ausstatter, Bühnenbildner und Lichtdesigner geschaffen wurden und an denen das jeweilige Theater ein Urheberrecht hält. Haben dir die ganzen Theater ein Nutzungsrecht (=Lizenz) an diesen Rechten eingeräumt, so dass du das Foto hier veröffentlichen kannst? Gruß, --Gnom (talk) 20:55, 10 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Gnom: Herzlichen Dank für die Wertschätzung, I try what I can. Alle Theater, in denen mein Kollege Francisco Peralta Torrejón fotografieren, haben uns das uneingeschränkte Nutzungsrecht unserer Bilder eingeräumt (auch für Wikipedia, auch für 4.0) - mit Ausnahme der Staatsoper im Schiller Theater (Berlin). In diesem Falle mussten wir das Einverständnis der drei Protagonisten einholen, welches nunmehr aber (nach schwierigen Verhandlungen) ebenfalls schriftlich vorliegt. Ausserdem gab es Probleme mit Nina Stemme, welche die Szenenbilder von Elektra an der Wiener Staatsoper nicht freigegeben hat, weshalb wir auf Elektra-Bilder verzichten mussten (und nur Elektra-Bilder ohne Elektra hochgeladen haben). Da es sich um ein Buchprojekt handelt (und wir keine Beschlagnahme wegen fehlender Copyrights riskieren wollen), sind wir extrem vorsichtig in dieser Angelegenheit. Es hat zwei Jahre gedauert, bis wir ins Teatro alla Scala eingelassen wurden - dann aber waren sie begeistert von den Bildern und haben sie selbst gleich zur Veröffentlichung weiter gegeben, siehe: [1]. Wir würden auch gerne in der Hamburgischen Staatsoper fotografieren, haben aber dort noch nicht angefragt. Vielleicht kannst Du uns helfen. Das Buch soll heißen United Nations of Opera und möglichst viele Opernhäuser beinhalten. Dem Theater entstehen keine Spesen. In der ersten Phase lag unser Hauptaugenmerk, in die Häuser reinzukommen, was zumeist nicht leicht war. Wir holen jetzt Schritt für Schritt auch die notwendigen Bestätigungen ein (siehe Generalfreigabe des Burgtheaters via ticket #2016020310014071). Alle Theater wissen, dass wir für Buch und Wikipedia fotografieren (der Zugang zur Fotoprobe ist also Einverständniserklärung). Die Problemzonen habe ich oben aufgezeigt, es gibt kein einziges Theater, mit welchem wir Probleme hätten, nur Bejun Metha war etwas anspruchsvoll, Nina Stemme hat nein gesagt. Das Ismene-Foto wurde von Mavie Hörbiger persönlich ausgesucht. Auch die Dirigenten Philippe Jordan und Christian Thielemann haben der Veröffentlichung auf WC zugestimmt. eine Schnelllöschung kann i.d.R. nur erfolgen, wenn der Hochlader innerhalb von sieben Tagen nach dem Hochladen einen entsprechenden Schnelllöschantrag stellt. Der Hochlader war Donna Gedenk, gibt allerdings Dich als Quelle an. Ist es ein Zweitaccount von Dir? Auch bei einem regulären Löschantrag „This is a bad picture, taken under horrible light conditions. Diskussion über meine Biographie in der deWP[edit]

John Dugdale, Herlinde Koelbl, Marcus Leatherdale, Christian Vogt und Todd Watts waren ganz sicherlich bei den Eröffnungen ihrer Ausstellungen in Wien. Bei Joel-Peter Witkin bin ich mir nicht sicher. Robert Mapplethorpe ist leider nicht nach Wien gekommen, ich war mehrfach in seinem New Yorker Studio und habe seine Arbeiten abgeholt bzw. zurückgebracht.--Christian Michelides (talk) 18:52, 25 June 2018 (UTC) (Warum übrigens ist Herlinde Koelbl aus dem Artikel rausgeflogen? Das war damals fast revolutionär, einen Mann beim Orgasmus zu zeigen. Es war mir eine besondere Freude und Ehre, die Arbeiten dieser großen Künstlerin zum ersten Mal in Wien (im Künstlerhaus) vorstellen zu dürfen.)[reply]

Mapplethorpe ist übrigens im Katalog (von F'83) vertreten. Wozu dient das Bezweifeln von Fakten? Es waren Tausende dort, die seine Arbeiten gesehen haben. Über das Reinigen der Stolpersteine[edit]

Es gibt Knipser und es gibt Fotografen. Erstere drücken auf den Kopf, letztere kämpfen um das Bild. Ich bewundere jeden Pferdefotografen, der die vier Beine zum richtigen Zeitpunkt erwischt, jeden Ballettfotografen, der/die ..., jeden Synchronspringerfotografen, der … Was Rübelt hier geschafft hat, [2]: Meisterlich. Meister. Ja, Fotografie ist ein Handwerk (und wird trotz der Knipserei nicht aussterben). Die Reproduktion von Kunstwerken ist übrigens auch so eine ziemlich schwierige fotografische Aufgabe. Die Farben sollen dem Original entsprechen, Verzerrungen streng verboten, Spiegelungen absolutes noGo. Demnigs Steine sind Kunstwerke. Wir zeigen La Gioconda ja auch nicht unscharf, verzerrt, verdreckt und noch mit Regentropfen drauf, sondern frisch restauriert, bestens ausgeleuchtet, möglichst farbgetreu.

Ja, deshalb reinigen Francisco Peralta Torrejón und ich vor dem Fotografieren die Stolpersteine. Wir versuchen Spiegelungen und Regentropfen zu vermeiden. Wir bemühen uns, in der Reproduktion dem Kunstwerk gerecht zu werden. Das ist nicht Knipsen, sondern Arbeit. Wir sind noch lange nicht dort, qualitativ, wo wir sein wollen, aber wir arbeiten daran und bemühen uns. In Baden-Württemberg wird jeder Gartenzwerg liebevoll geputzt und jeder Mercedes auch. Es ist nicht zuviel an Erwartung, wenn man die Baden-Württemberger ersucht, sie mögen auch die Erinnerungssteine für ihre Opfer zumindest in lesbarem Zustand halten.--Christian Michelides (talk) 20:40, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
