File:Natta projection of 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

SVG

Hello. Mind taking a look at w:File:Sample structure of thiazolidinediones PPAR-γ agonists.pdf and w:File:Sample structure of indol based PPAR-γ agonists.pdf and convert them to SVGs if they're deemed usable. Thanks :) --Minorax«¦talk¦» 03:23, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Minorax: , both files were not uploaded to Commons and they are not used except one abandoned sandbox of a user. In addition, there is no clear reference to this compounds. If ever they should be deleted without replacement. — Chem Sim 2001 (talk) 07:31, 1 April 2023 (UTC)

Missing bond

In File:1,2-Cyclopentanedione diketo-enol.svg, the right-hand diagram is missing the double-bond of the alkene. DMacks (talk) 13:54, 22 September 2023 (UTC)

@DMacks: Thanks for noticing, could you remove the first (incorrect) version of this file? — Chem Sim 2001 (talk) 14:38, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick fix! I don't see a basis for deletion of the old one (I assume you're thinking Commons:Revision deletion?). But it's not visible to anyone except in the history directly at the description page here on commons. DMacks (talk) 06:06, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
Yes, I'm referring to Commons:Revision deletion because I think that incorrect files or file version should get deleted / removed from the description page. — Chem Sim 2001 (talk) 09:16, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
Sorry, that doesn't meet the guidelines. It would need to go via a regular COM:DR, with a clear note that it's just the older version there. I've seen inconsistent outcomes. Sometimes it fails as "why bother dealing with it?", harmless part of history. DMacks (talk) 08:35, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
Okay, no problem! Thanks for your explanation and expertise in this area. — Chem Sim 2001 (talk) 08:36, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
