I guess one day my english will be better for writing it and colaborate with you on this project but have still a lot to do in the french section ;) Also i invite you to visit our pages. If you understand french language could you give me your feedback about? Cheers. Neithsabes 10 april 2007 10:40 (CET)

Photo permission[edit]

Hello, I would like to contact you about permission to use several of your photographs from Wikimedia Commons in a book I am working on. Please contact me at jkwalton5@gmail.com at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

File:TommyHunterReadingsBook CBCMuseum.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Dear Captmondo, I am e-mailing from a production company in England and we are making a documentary series for National Geographic. We would love to use the image you have uploaded, Hypocephalus, within our documentary. Before we can do so, we need to double check this image is in the public domain. It would be great to discuss this further over e-mail. Please e-mail me at Ellie.davis@parthenonentertainment.com.

Many Thanks,

Ellie

Good morning, Mr. Klaus Wagensonner I am an archaeologist from the Italian Archaeological Mission at Tell Mishrifeh / Qatna (Syria). I’m organizing a photo exhibition on the ethnographic subject :Bedouin tribes of Syria. I found on Internet some photo of your property (I pointed out the references below), I would like to include them in the panels, with the credit to your name. I want to ask your agreement. And also, maybe it’s possible to print a catalog of the exhibition, which will not be sold but given as promotional material, in this case I ask you the permission to include these photo in the catalog. To be clear I say, that the catalog will be printed and will remain online for sale (for users of the Internet, bulletin board on the site) at the cost of printing, so the price quoted covers the cost of printing and mailing only. So I ask the availability to use the images for exhibition and catalog. I’m waiting for your reply, best regards Alberto Savioli

The picture that interest me is the Amorite plaque from Boston Museum.
