Bon dia! ja me'n recordo d'aquell escut. No és gris ni blanc, de fet, ni el gris ni el blanc formen part dels esmalts ni metalls de l'heràldica. El seu blasonament és aquest:
Escut caironat: d'argent, un coll de sinople movent de la punta sobremuntat d'un jou de gules. Per timbre, una corona de poble.
El color del camper és d'argent. Que ara recordi, vaig modificar el teu disseny perquè no vas posar cap camper, per tant no era ni blanc ni gris ni res, era transparent...
El color argent no correspon a cap valor rgb en concret, l'únic que s'ha de tenir en compte és que siguin prou diferenciats els colors a fer servir entre ells i que siguin reconeixibles a simple vista. Un dels colors proposats, sense voler dir que sigui l'únic vàlid, pots trobar-ho aquí:

La part esquerra es la representació del color, la dreta (absencia de color) és la que es fa servir en representacions de gravats, representacions que es fan servir en llibres que no tenen color. La societat catalana d'heràldica recomana fer servir el color pantone 877 U (com veus, només recomana, ja que aquell no és l'únic vàlid i la ciència heràldica es universal per tothotm) i jo faig fer servir el color que s'ha consensuat al taller d'heràldica i vexilologia de la wikipedia en espanyol. ¡Salutacions! --Xavigivax 06:57, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

I have added the full citation for Rhode & Muller, because en.wikipedia is getting more strict about this. I have also added some notes about the colours in the graph.
Would it be possible to turn the image so that the early part is on the left and the latest part is on the right? This is how time graphs are presented at en.wikipedia, see for example Extinction event? I think Image:Phanerozoic Biodiversity.svg would be very useful in this article, to explain the difference between "extinction" and "change in diversity".
Would it be possible to remove the text from the image so that it can be added by Template:Annotated image? This would save you time eventually, since you would not have to produce versions of the image for different languages - editors can easily change the annotations. I recommended this technique to a Dutch guy at Talk:Cretaceous–Tertiary extinction event (bottom of a long Talk section) and he really liked it. You might find these examples interesting.
I can handle the text for the vertical axis easily, as Template:Annotated image makes it possible to add margins for additional text. But if you do this, please keep the numbers on the axes. -- Philcha (talk) 12:50, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Albert. Many thanks for sending me the image with the captions removed. I found that I am not good with Inkscape, and I had to turn it into an ordinary .PNG image.
- I have now achieved what I wanted, and you can see an example. It uses Template:Annotated image, which makes it possible to:
- add annotations, and translate them into other languages without changing the image.
- make the text easy to read and the links easy to click, even if the image is shown at a smaller size.
- Template:Annotated image has a lot of paramters, but almost all are just for extra flexibility. Most of the time one can leave most of the parameters to use their default values.
- A Dutch Wikipedia editor asked a question on one of our Talk pages and I advised him to use Template:Annotated image. Now he likes it a lot and has used it for a diagram of mass extinction intensity. I hope you find this useful too. -- -- Philcha (talk) 23:41, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Albert. Thank you for offering to convert my image to SVG. If you do this, can you please make sure the axis scales are easy to read at 300px width, which I think is the minimum useful thumbnail size for this image. - Hi, Albert. I have now built the image into a template so that anyone who wants to use it just includes the template in an article. This also makes it easier to copy and adapt it to non-English Wikipedias, as the translation only has to be done once - an dit also easy to make the template use an SVG instead of PNG. If you do this, you must first copy this template, which the Biodiversity template uses.
- If you convert the image to SVG, can you please make the trend line 2 or 3 times as thick and a little darker, so that it is more visible at thumbnail size. Many thanks -- Philcha (talk) 08:25, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Hola Albert, he vist que has categoritzat alguns escuts amb el municipi, per exemple el de Sant Llorenç de la Muga. Veuràs que jo adalt afegeixo un defaultsort, per tant seria convenient categoritzar-los amb [[Category:Sant Llorenç de la Muga|*]], així sortirà ordenat el primer dintre de la categoria. Al DOGC parla de verd, a una web verd fosc, segons la secretaria de l'Armand de Fluvià, on diu verd ha de dir verd fosc sempre... jo no se com és, però per sentit comú la deixaria amb el color corresponent al verd segons la taula aquella de colors FIAV. Sobre el permís de File:Emigrant.ogg hi ha dues mancances, tal com vaig contestar en el correu. Primer, no l'envia el titular dels drets d'autor ni es pot comprovar que realment hagi concedir el permís. Segon, no indica cap cessió de llicència, ni cessió en domini públic tal com diu el fitxer. Per altra banda, tal com apuntes, cal confirmar que es tenen tots els drets dels implicats, per exemple de la discogràfica. Teòricament hauria de demanar esborrar-lo al cap d'un mes per no haver rebut cap resposta. Sobre imatges anònimes cal assegurar que realment no s'ha pogut trobar l'autor. També cal indicar on i quan es va publicar per primer cop, si és que s'ha publicat. Són 80 anys des de la seva primera publicació, o des de la seva creació, independentment de qui en sigui el seu propietari i la seva voluntat. --V.Riullop (talk) 08:29, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Com et deia, el correu no l'envia el titular dels drets, i la resposta l'envio al remitent, que en aquest cas és l'usuari que l'ha carregat. De totes formes, a OTRS no fem investigació o assessorament legal, més enllà de les polítiques aplicables de Commons, sinó que ens limitem a verificar-les i arxivar a efectes legals. Amb això vull dir dues coses. Si són aplicables 50 anys pels intèrprets o 20 anys per meres fotografies (no eren 25?), és una qüestió a aclarir a COM:L i la seva pàgina de discussió, lloc on ara no diu res d'això. Em sona que hi havia una dificultat en la definició de què és una mera fotografia, cosa que també passa amb la llei italiana: Commons:Deletion requests/Template:PD-Italy. Però un permís validat a OTRS no vol dir que passi per sobre de les polítiques. En el cas de File:Maune tenora66.jpg ha estat validat ja que el remitent assegura que va fer la foto personalment. Però s'hauria d'haver demanat aclariments ja que la informació del fitxer diu que és d'autor desconegut, cosa que deu haver passat per alt ja que ho diu en català. Tip: Categorizing images[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]][[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Veig que has modificat molts escuts per millorar la presentació, plantilla, referència, etc. Bona feina!, però creus que es necessari escriure el nom castellanitzat? Commons no es wikipedia en español. Personalment crec que no hauries de fer-ho: San Lorenzo de Hortóns, Caldas de Estrach, San Martín de Centellas, em sembla ridícul. Hola Albert! Avui he llegit el teu avís del dia 2 dient que el fitxer podia tenir un problema de "copyright", i que hi digués la meva a la pàgina de discussió. Però no trobo ni el fitxer ni la seva pàgina de discussió (que ja deuen estar esborrats). No tinc present aquesta imatge en concret, però gairebé segur que va ser carregada de flickr amb l'assistent o que l'havia fet jo personalment; si fos així, en el moment de carregar-la be devia semblar que complia els requisits. Podries fer-me cinc cèntims de les raons per les que incomplia el "copyright", per tenir-ho en compte en futurs fitxers ? M'ho sembla a mi, o l'esborrat ha estat un pèl ràpid ? Per mi, l'annex amb la signatura i el segell de l'ajuntament és suficient. Possiblement qui ha contestat no s'ha adonat de l'annex. Insisteix en la validesa del document annexat. Hola Cameta, por favor, no etiqueta un archivo como copyvio si hay un permiso OTRS. Si piensas que el voluntario OTRS ha cometido un error, puedes iniciar una nominación normal de eliminación, por lo que alguien con acceso a OTRS puede revisar y responder. Jcb (talk) 06:22, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
Escut KC Barcelona[edit]
Hola! He vist que has marcat que el fitxer de l'escut del Korfbal Club Barcelona viola el copyright. L'escut l'he dissenyat jo mateix, per això està marcat com a "own" al resum del fitxer. De quina altra manera ho he de fer sinó? --Yuanga (talk) 17:01, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Escuts de colles castelleres[edit]
Hola. Em pots explicar per què m'has eliminat les fotos d'escuts de colles castelleres? Tot són fotos fetes per mi i mai m'he trobat amb cap problema. Fa ràbia dedicar temps a fer aquestes fotos, penjar-les i col·locar-les a l'article corresponent perquè després te les esborrin. No ho entenc. --Catalaalatac (talk) 13:42, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello Cameta, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. A detailed explanation can be found here. Important: To prevent problems please remove the old VFC installation code from your common.js and instead enable the VFC gadget in your preferences.
