May you please update "Class 2..." and "Class 3 US Senators by State & Party.svg"?[edit]

Hello! Is there any way you could update these two of your very helpful image files? Alex Padilla, Jon Ossoff, and Raphael Warnock have all been inaugurated. So California's Class 3 seat and Georgia's Class 2 seat have switched from Vacant to Democratic, and Georgia's Class 3 seat has switched from Republican to Democratic. Is there any way you could update these two files, File:Class 2 US Senators by State & Party.svg and File:Class 3 US Senators by State & Party.svg? Thank you! File:Neera Tanden Cabinet (cropped).jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

@Cliffmore: Hi, I would like to voice my arguments but I'm not aware where exactly I should be doing it. Can you please provide me with the link to the discussion area? Thanks with regards. CX Zoom (talk) 09:17, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for fixing the 117th House of Reps image! Any way you could update it again (April 14)?[edit]

Hello CX Zoom! Thanks so much for fixing File:(117th) US House of Representatives.svg to match with the other files. Also, Julia Letlow (R) was just sworn in, bringing Vacancies from 6 to 5, and the number of Republican Representatives from 211 to 212 (as of April 14). Any way you could update the file with this (and spin off that new version into a new File:US_House_218-0-212_(5V).svg)? Thank you so much! Paintspot (talk) 19:14, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Paintspot Updated the file File:(117th) US House of Representatives.svg and a File:US_House_218-0-211_(6V).svg was already present. Thanks a lot for letting me know. Cheers! CX Zoom (talk) 22:11, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@CX Zoom: Hello! It's me again. Any way you could update the image again? Troy Carter (D) has now been sworn in, bringing Vacancies from 5 to 4, and the number of Democratic Representatives from 218 to 219 (as of May 11). And could you spin the old version into a separate File:US_House_218-0-212_(5V).svg image (and if possible, could you copy the new version to a File:US_House_219-0-212_(5V).svg image as well)? So sorry about the hassle, and no worries if you aren't able to do it. Paintspot (talk) 19:35, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Paintspot Update done. Thanks for letting me know again. Cheers! CX Zoom (talk) 23:36, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Paintspot: However, I'm sorry but I did not upload a File:US House 219-0-212 (5V).svg as of today, because if I do so, both this new file and the File:(117th) US House of Representatives.svg will start showing up a "Duplicate file" tag, leading to some other editor delete the new file and put a redirect in its place. Thanks for uploading File:Problem during a template creation by CX Zoom.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

dark mode[edit]

sorry it took me so long to notice you'd asked at commons:village pump/Archive/2022/03#Dark mode gadget; did you try the instructions at https://mediawiki.org/w/index.php?oldid=4435544 yet? Arlo James Barnes 15:36, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much. Although that would've been helpful too, I've since found en:User:MusikAnimal/nightpedia.js, which I installed on my global.js. Thank you again for the help! —‍CX Zoom (A/अ/অ) (let's talk|contribs) 16:33, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Help with map of delegates in a legislative chamber[edit]

Hi CX Zoom. I see from here that you are the right person to approach for help. Could you please when convenient help by adjusting/ updating (or is it necessary to create anew?) this image? I updated the number of seats here, but now the image must correspond with the new numbers. I also did my best picking a colour for the new entrant (PHA), which should be according to this Thanking you in advance, Rui Gabriel Correia (talk) 11:59, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Rui Gabriel Correia: Is this palette ok? I've taken the colors from the current diagram and the website you linked (for PHA only).   MPLA;   UNITA;   FNLA;   PRS;   PHA —‍CX Zoom (A/अ/অ) (let's talk|contribs) 14:11, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, CX Zoom. Yes, that is great, thanks. Thanks for the quick turnaround, much appreciated. Rui Gabriel Correia (talk) 14:20, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Rui Gabriel Correia: I've uploaded a new version at File:Assembleia Nacional da IV legislatura de Angola.svg. Please check if the sequence of parties is ok or they should be rearranged. —‍CX Zoom (A/अ/অ) (let's talk|contribs) 14:38, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect! You are a star. Thank you. Rui Gabriel Correia (talk) 14:54, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Rui Gabriel Correia: It is really easy to make. I used this website: https://parliamentdiagram.toolforge.org/parlitest.php to make the diagrams, it is internally connected with commons. When you click upload link, it will ask to authorise this website, and it will upload the diagram using your account. The first time is a bit tricky, but them it becomes very easy. Let me know if you need any help in the future. —‍CX Zoom (A/अ/অ) (let's talk|contribs) 15:04, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrol given[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. Abzeronow (talk) 19:05, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
