Regarding file names and Zulu time

ISO Standard 8601 which sets common standards, uses a capital "Z" for the time in UTC, not a lower-case "Z". I believe the same applies for the United States Armed Forces and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, meaning it would be advisable to use a capital "Z" in file titles, not a lower-case "z". The files which you have already done this with cannot be renamed as there is no actual letter difference, but I would ask that you remain consistent with the already common file naming standards for tropical cyclone images, which use an upper-case "Z". Another bad thing about this inconsistency is that with the majority using a capital letter "Z" but you using a lower-case "z", one may upload an image of the same storm at the same time, but not be aware because it is technically possible to have two images with the exact same title but with the letter "Z" differing only in case, allowing for "STORMNAME Oct 21 2014 0000z" and "STORMNAME Oct 21 2014 0000Z" to both exist at the same time. Hi

I came across your message on Churches; this User is on Wiki-break since February, 2014; since then, after his having uploaded 120,000 photos, the photographer Donated to me gratuitously the next 121,000 photos and today I have uploaded 121,000, including the most beautiful and heritage Philippine Churches, and of course the most humble poorest of the poor Chapels in the Philippines. I had seen Vigan Churches and took some Kodak camera photos of them in 1992-2004 but they are not good photos since the camera I used is only 100 pesos and there are people in there; but I uploaded the La Union and even some of the Ilocos Sur Church photos up to Candon City from Tagudin. You can look at as I share to you and to world, the Judge Florentino Floro Churches photos I uploaded. Best wishes--Judgefloro (talk) 05:35, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Byralaal; as editor and Uploader of Judge Florentino Floro's photos of about 181,000+ I uploaded all of which he donated to me for Commons Public Domain, here are some of them as you are asking - Category:San Fernando City, La Union, Churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Fernando de La Union‎, Category:La Union, Cultural heritage monuments in La Union‎ Category:Cities and municipalities in La Union here the 21 Churches and Town halls Judge Florentino Floro photographed and I uploaded; not yet in Vigan, just some in Ilocos Sur Churches up to Candon City. Sincerely.--Judgefloro (talk) 04:05, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

.jpeg

This is not a popular filename extension and looks annoying. .jpg is better. -- Meow 13:13, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

That isn't even the original file extension. Why are you changing the file extensions of files that were originally .jpg to .jpeg? Dustin (talk) 16:06, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

RE: @Meow: and @Dustin V. S.: , the problem should be by the browser or the OS that I'm using. I had not realized that problem until you noticed me. But, what's the difference between these two extensions?? Keep calm and don't be mad, maybe I should use " " to save images in .jpg to avoid using .jpeg that is set by default on my PC. --Byralaal (talk) 17:11, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
I can't speak for Meow, but I am not angry. It's just unhelpful that you or your software would add a letter to a file extension for no reason. What operating system do you use? If you know how, you can try to unhide file extensions for all files. Dustin (talk) 23:22, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
@Dustin V. S.: My OS is Win 8.1 and my browser is Firefox 39.0. I think the problem could have been caused by a program, that was supposed to fix my PC but, disorganized my PC... Advanced--SC from Iobit.... If you see the problem appears to be fixed because I used the quotation mark to keep its original extension.--Byralaal (talk) 00:13, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
Okay; thank you. Dustin (talk) 00:20, 10 July 2015 (UTC)

Anybody home?

Byralaal, You don't actually upload for months, neither on One-E, TD Ambo, TD 01W, and more. Can you upload one and we can like to assist you. - Nino ( talk ) 09:36, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
