[edit]So you want to learn Lua for ROBLOX, eh?
Well you have come to the right place, for I wil teach you everything I know about Lua and that that is a large amount.
Okay, let's get started. Let's open ROBLOX Studio (Start>ROBLOX>ROBLOX Studio), open a fresh clean new map. Here's our map:
Okay, so here's our guide:
1) This section is where you can save, use build tools, load, exit, that kind of jazz.
2) This section is the Explorer, it'll show all the parts, script components anything you have in your place here.
3) This section is the Property section, this'll show the properties of a selected component.
4) This area is called the 'Output' it's very helpful. When debugging code if an error appears, you'll see it here. The 'Output' though, doesn't exactly speak English, you gotta learn it's language (Not hard)
Now, let's start with a simple tree so we can see where my character and parts are located.
