Poprawilem pliki z Category:Media requiring renaming. Co zamiezasz zrobic z dubletami? Niekture moga byc niepoprawne i pewnie powinny byc skasowane, ale w wiekszosci wypadkow zakladam ze mamy dwie rozne ale poprawne wersje i powinnismy trzymac obie. Planowałem wysłuchać każdej z wersji i wybrać lepsze nagranie, drugie usunąć. Nie jestem przekonany co do twojego pomysłu, dlatego że:

1) w projektach Wiktionary często nagrania wymowy wstawiają boty i jeśli będą na Commons dwa nagrania tego samego słowa, ale różnie nazwane, to bot i tak wstawi tylko to nagranie nazwane poprawnie

2) jeśli zostawimy te duble, to w przyszłości każde inne ponowne nagranie słowa będziemy musieli zostawić i zrobi się dużo ponownie nagranych, równie dobrych nagrań, różniących się bardzo nieznacznie lub np. głos męski i żeński... nie wydaje mi się, żeby to było konieczne

Commons jest przechowania plików my zazwyczaj nie wybieramy które sa lepsze a które gorsze. My trzymamy wszystkie i zakładamy ze wikipedie, zrodla, słowniki, itp. wybiorą sobie które sa najlepsze. Byc moze ze na przykład w słowniku moga byc przydatne parę wersji wymowy tego samego slowa. Jeśli jakieś nagrania maja zły akcent, sa urwane, czy maja jakieś inne problemy to mozna skasować, ale jesli jedynym "problemem" jest ze jest to dublet, to my zazwyczaj trzymamy oba. Dobra, ściągnąłem Shtookę i Commonista i zaczynam się bawić. Zerkniesz na testowe nagrania? Użyłem laptopowego mikrofonu więc jest trochę szumu, zaraz jeszcze pokombinuję z ustawieniami - będzie się dało je jakoś zredukować czy raczej kupić normalny mikrofon? Krytyka i rady mile widziane. Prośba o usunięcie

Cześć. Usuń proszę cały mój wkład audio za wyjątkiem: sokoli, ująć, ujęcie, sokoli wzrok, sol, sola, solarium, sole. Wrzucę ich nowe, lepsze wersje. Jeszcze do idealnie wyciszonego nagrania nie doszedłem, ale wydaje mi się że to co na razie osiągnęliśmy z dziewczyną jest dobre. Z chęcią przyjmę sugestie. Renaming

Hi!

I noticed that you have renamed a lot of files with the reason "Standardized name for pronouncation files" and "For easier category view". As you can see on Rename#What_files_should_be_renamed? we have some "rules" when we rename and when we do not rename. Has it been decided somewhere that pronouncation files has a naming convension?

Yes, it is your mistake. You made the move, and you had no good reason to make the move. The file was correctly named before the move. The error was that someone had added a category that should not have been there. No, the city and verb are not stressed the same by all English speakers. The verb is strssed on the first syllable, but the city name is stressed on the second syllable. Note also that the site you have appealed to is using a UK accent, not a US accent. British and US pronunciations are often different, although in this case the site you found seems to be in error, since it disagrees with the Oxford English Pronouncing Dictionary if it claims that both verb and proper noun are pronounced the same.

And no, I can't uploade another file because the redirect you created prevents me from doing this. And this would not fix the problem you created.

I don not fully agree with you. I hope, you'll allow me you explain my points–

The reason of naming– 99% call it only Gita, that's it. But since there are many more Gitas (not very popular in comparison to BGita), so technically we should create a difference, thus – Bhagavda Gita can be BGita, VyadhaGita canbe VGita, UGita Uddhava Gita etc!

And that file is an "others" section file, it has some value when it is in an article, but individually it has no value. People will be interested to listen whole Gita, not how the word "Bhagavad Gita" is pronounced.

Jak dla mnie brzmi poprawnie. Zwróć uwagę, że to wymawia dziewczyna (kobieta) z Kalifornii, więc pewnie jej akcent lokalny jest inny niż stereotypowy amerykański angielski (z południowych stanów tudzież Nowego Jorku lub New Jersey). Czas Ci trochę pomóc w tej tytanicznej pracy (: Masz dużo większe doświadczenie, więc jeśli myślisz, że można coś poprawić w nowych plikach, to wal śmiało. Z tego co słyszę, to Ty wymawiasz trochę śmielej, ale myślę że to przyjdzie z czasem. Skupimy się na słowach z "r", żeby Ci nie wchodzić w paradę. Teraz tak właśnie robimy, że żona nagrywa, a ja potem przesłuchuję po kolei i usuwam to, co mi się nie podoba (w pierwszym rzucie było takich słów może z 10%, więc moim zdaniem jest nieźle). Zmieniać oczywiście możesz, zgapiłem od Ciebie stronę -- wrzucałbym to od razu Commonistem, ale chyba nie da się tam wyłuskać nazwy pliku i wstawić jej automatycznie do opisu? Co do ekstrawagancji masz rację, ja tam wprawdzie słyszę "j", ale jest bardzo słabe. Poprawimy (:

Sprzęt: sprawdziłem mikrofon, który kiedyś kupiłem za ~25zł, porównałem z mikrofonem wbudowanym w kamerkę Microsoft LifeCam VX-2000 i ten drugi zdecydowanie mniej szumił, więc jego używamy. Potem oczywiście "Noise Removal" w Audacity.

A co sądzisz o wymowie wykrzykników, takich jak "ahoj" albo "hura"? Dodajesz w ogóle takie słowa? Mnie się wydaje, że gdyby je powiedzieć normalnie, to byłoby bez sensu, bo jeśli obcokrajowiec się nauczy od nas wymowy "hura" takim samym tonem jak "pogrzeb", to może się zdziwić, gdy przyjedzie do Polski (; Z drugiej strony pewnie łatwo przesadzić i powiedzieć to ze zbyt dużą emfazą, ale poproszę Ewczy, żeby spróbowała. Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning.
