Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Re: deletion of files that you uploaded

• One's political beliefs or political leaning are irrelevant to whether an image was deleted--deletion on Wikimedia Commons is NOT vote suppression. Our sole concern with regards to the images in question is their copyright status. Deletion was in accordance with Commons' licensing policy and policy on fair use.

Please note that non-free content ('free' defined as libre and not gratis), whether or not under fair use, is not permitted here and is subject to immediate deletion.

For images to be hosted on Wikimedia Commons, the images must either be under an acceptable free licence or in public domain as defined by the law (either as a result of the expiration of copyright protection or an exemption from protection as enumerated under the copyright laws of the country of origin AND the United States).

As these images were previously published elsewhere, for the possibility of undeletion (which may not be guaranteed if the images are subject to deletion under another policy), the copyright holder (i.e. the actual photographer, unless transferred by operation of law or by contract (written and signed by the original/first copyright holder as defined by copyright law)) must send permission and a specific release under an acceptable free licence using OTRS.

Please note: Do not recreate/reupload the images under any circumstances, as recreating deleted content outside of process is not allowed, and doing so repeatedly may cause you to lose your editing privileges.
