Indiscriminate nomination of in-scope sexuality files[edit]

Do not nominate files for deletion just because they have sex in them. See Commons:NOTCENSORED. In particular, you nominated one file that is COM:INUSE, which automatically makes it in scope, and misused speedy deletion, which requires a legitimate rationale listed on the linked page. Hello, thank you for correcting me.
I must admit, I am a bit puzzled by the interpretation of COM:PORN . For me, this file and others (such as the ones in Category:Penile-vaginal intercourse are precisely pornographic videos. For example, in File:Safe sex.webm, they could've demonstrated clearly the way of putting on condom, for educationnal purpose. But rather, this purpose was set aside, and, for me, the video is only about two people having sex and filming it : pornography.
I mean, some files are qualified of Art : ok, sure. But to have Videos of people having sex can hardly be considered as artwork, can't it?
I feel like having such videos on articles in wikipedia does not serve the reader.
Would you be so kind as to orient me to other articles and texts so as to enrich my thought process? I'm especially thinking about essays made about nudity on wikipedia and commons.
Thank you,

Just a small note but that policy there says "amateur porn site" and "Low-quality pornographic images" to be precise.
I'm more concerned about such videos and images showing up in unexpected categories like "Category:Minecraft" and applaud you for creating a subcategory there even though I think a broader category like "Nude people with video game-related bodypainting" could suffice and that it shows up just like before in the search results. Certainly speedy deletion is not the right way for such files and there I'm also more worried about the deletion of more realistically useful media than the keeping of such files. Maybe this is useful information to you. Prototyperspective (talk) 17:37, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thank you for this interesting point of view. I guess any efforts should mostly be concentrated on creating subcategories. Blocktomo (talk) 17:53, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
