File:Duchess of Cambridge Cricket Pakistan Tour 2.png has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with {{subst:OP}} and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request.

- I have looked at these again and have revised my opinion of the files that have a CC license on YouTube, partly due to the links you added.
- For the other files you could ask Londisland if she is willing to change the YouTube license (although you may want to wait for the result if the deletion requests, which can take a few months). If Londisland changes the license after the Commons files are deleted then you could request their undeletion.
- Also, when you post a still from a YouTube video it would be helpful to indicate the time in the video that the still is from. Regards, Verbcatcher (talk) 22:01, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- Verbcatcher Hi, thank you so much for taking a second look and catching my unfortunate mistakes. I'll keep your advice in mind. Have a great week!--Bettydaisies (talk) 05:54, 22 January 2021 (UTC)

Personality rights tag[edit]
If you do this, there is something wrong with your {{Personality rights}} tag before you added? --2001:4452:492:D700:6C45:E7E0:F6D:1BE2 11:43, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- I'm so sorry, I don't know what you mean?--Bettydaisies (talk) 05:31, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- Your {{Personality rights}} tag I think, because it's very important to tag someone who identify celebrities in photos (for public uses in person). --2001:4452:492:D700:A584:CD35:D838:2E6D 11:36, 21 July 2021 (UTC)
- Do you mean the personality rights tag should be included on files with high-profile figures?--Bettydaisies (talk) 17:02, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
- Why yes, it's very important if you upload someone's work with a free files which depicted human persons in photographs, see COM:IDENT. --49.150.110.214 03:42, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
- For example, if you highlight these photos (with personality rights tag) of high-prolific figures of Prince Harry, Emma Watson, and among others. --49.150.110.214 02:07, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
Almost forgot[edit]
I almost forgot something, if those files are copyrighted within someone's sources, you should tag as {{Copyvio}} for speedy deletion. --49.150.110.214 02:13, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

Links to OGL licenses[edit]
Hi, when you use the {{OGL}} tag please add a link to the webpage that shows that the OGL license is applicable. In many cases the licence declaration is not on the same webpage as the picture. Generally, this link should be in the 'permission=' field of the file page. I have added this link to File:Catherine Wildlife.jpg.
The Open Government Licence can be applied by UK Government bodies, but it does not automatically apply to UK Government works, see Commons:Copyright rules by territory/United Kingdom. The file page should indicate why OGL applies.
I was dubious of several of your files, but those I have looked at look ok. For the Royal Navy pictures there is a license on their 'Terms and conditions' page, which is linked from the bottom of at least some of the pages with the photos.
Regards, Verbcatcher (talk) 14:07, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for letting me know! I wasn't aware. I'll go back and add those later this week. Best wishes.--Bettydaisies (talk) 22:27, 15 October 2021 (UTC)

Flickr2Commons[edit]
I have just come across a few images you have recently uploaded from Flickr. I would appreciate it if in the future, you used the Flickr2Commons tool. This tool allows images to be moved to Commons from Flickr without having to download the images to your own computer. It also brings in the largest resolution of the image, as well making sure to list the correct license and url, making it easy for the automated Flickr Review system. Also, it is fairly easy to categorize images with this tool. To use it, you just need to go to the url and authorize it (where it says "authorise first"). A1Cafel (talk) 07:51, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
