You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). File:Bruno Thiry 2003.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Copyright violations[edit]
Hello Beta racing.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Eehm, yes. This is a free content project, read about free content if you not know that it means free for to reuse by everyone for everything including commercial reuse by the copyright holders written permission. This is not a project to copy&paste random images from the internet. Please read Commons:First steps first and, if you are still unsure, ask what you can upload and what not. --Martin H. Hello, uploading images to your own flickr account has no effect on copyrights and it not allows you to license the image. The copyright holder, and noone else, must voluntarily provide a free license, you can not force something under a license by uploading it to flickr. --Martin H. (talk) 13:34, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- this applies too all your uploads. Im interested in how you come to the idea that you can copy random images to flickr and that you think you can license them. License means: You allow others, everyone, to reuse the image everywhere, including money making publications. How comes? --Martin H. (talk) 13:37, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
You have been blocked for a duration of 1 month[edit]
You have been blocked from editing Commons for a duration of 1 month for the following reason: Uploading non-free files after several warnings, this includes the first uploads here, the uploads on en.wp, the warnings here, the warnings on en.wp... and again the upload here with evil Flickr washing. How stubborn can one be NOT to read any, not even the very, very basic rules and instructions??.
If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{unblock|(enter your reason here) ~~~~}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. See also the block log. For more information, see Appealing a block.
