Categorizing[edit]

Hello, Battlegriffin. I noticed some files you uploaded, such as File:Pappfabriken i Värperyd.jpg. There are a couple of issues with the categories you added. The first is that they are overcategorized. That means that they have been in multiple categories in the same branch of the category tree system. For example, if a files is in Category:Ronneby, then it doesn't need to be in Category:Ronneby Municipality because Category:Ronneby is already under the municipality. You can read about overcategorizing at COM:OVERCAT.

The other issue is that you have included metacategories on files. Metacategories should contain only other categories. An example of a metacategory is Category:Architecture of Blekinge by century. You can read about metacategories at COM:Meta category.

Please take these two things into consideration when assigning categories. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 09:53, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Auntof6! I had no idea of overcategorizing, this eas very helpful. This helps me to be more stratecic i choice if categories in the future.

How come you chose CC BY-SA 4.0? The aggregator has the confusing and conflicting notices of CC BY-NC and Public Domain, whereas the source only says CC BY-NC. What made you pick CC BY-SA for the upload?

Thanks! This was only a human mistake. I corrected the liceseinformation connected to the photograph and sice the author is designated appropriate to the license, the material can hopefully resume being uploaded in Wikimedia commons.
