Nous ne nous sommes pas croisés jusqu'à présent dans les pages de "Commons", que nous fréquentons tous deux pourtant depuis longtemps.
Je te vois aujourd'hui parmi les votants (rigoureux !) de la page FPC, que j'ai délaissée depuis quelques mois, et donc je file ensuite sur ta page, pour voir que tu es amateur d'ambigrammes.
Je te félicite pour la qualité de ton travail dans ce domaine, j'ai notamment beaucoup apprécié ton "Hillary Clinton", chapeau !
Si tu t'intéresses à la musique, et si tu sais la lire, je te recommande de ne pas manquer l'examen de partitions de Jean-Sébastien BACH (l' "Offrande Musicale", mais surtout l' "Art de la Fugue"), qui présentent des écritures d'ambigrammes musicaux particulièrement remarquables et qui t'intéresseront, même juste visuellement (sujets et contre-sujets "en miroir" ou à l'"écrevisse" -verticaux ou horizontaux-, combinés les uns avec les autres), placés avec une telle facilité et une telle virtuosité que c'en est confondant.
Pour moi, cet homme était un génie absolu. Non seulement c'est un mathématicien, mais ces oeuvres là sont jouables, et particulièrement belles à entendre.
Il a même carrément construit toute une oeuvre ("La Passion selon Saint-Jean") comme un ambigramme gigantesque, avec un choral central, auquel tout aboutit, et duquel tout part.
Bref, c'est pour moi l'expression du même esprit que celui qui t'anime dans tes créations, et je voulais juste te signaler ce domaine, à explorer si tu ne l'as déjà fait !

- Bonjour Jebulon, merci de ce message. Oui, j'aime beaucoup la page FPC de Commons, et la façon dont les images sont évaluées collectivement. Mais je ne suis actif ici que depuis 9 mois seulement, bien que mon compte ait été ouvert il y a 6 ans, c'est normal que nous ne nous soyons pas croisés auparavant. En ce qui concerne les ambigrammes, je suis un grand fan, en effet, depuis une dizaine d'années. En revanche, pour la musique, j'avoue être absolument inexpérimenté, ni musicien ni même capable de lire les notes. J'aime juste l'écouter, et ce que j'écoute en général est plus proche du rock n'roll que du classique. Néanmoins, j'ai cherché sur internet le rapport entre Bach et les palindromes, et trouvé cette vidéo très bien conçue. Bon, le concept est amusant ou curieux, après au niveau artistique, sincèrement je ne trouve rien de spécial à cette mélodie, même si mon jugement est peut-être lié à un manque de repère en la matière. Je garde néanmoins la référence, pour le lointain projet que j'ai de développer la page Wikipédia sur les ambigrammes, avec entre autre des références à d'autres artistes tels que Michel Gondry par exemple pour son clip palindrome Cibo Matto. Il y a un côté ludique et mathématique en effet dans cette recherche de symétrie pour concevoir des oeuvres diverses et variées. Une chose m'intrigue aussi via ce travail de composition, c'est pourquoi certaines notes assemblées en palindrome peuvent sonner juste (être belles) et d'autres pas. C'est vrai qu'il est étrange qu'une partition ait un sens directionnel. Et pourquoi toutes les symphonies à l'envers ne deviennent-elles pas aussi intéressantes ? Je présume que les professionnels ont pas mal investi la question et sauraient répondre, mais je trouve cette idée surprenante.
