I am completely confused by this, I am the author and artist of the images that I submitted, they are my property, I made them on the dates specified and I reside in Bismarck, North Dakota, USA and that is where all my work is created. I have a wiki page the discusses who I am, shows my work, and has multiple, multiple links and articles about the work that I perform. These are not historic images, they were created by me in the last 3 years. I submit my work in good faith having complete ownership of them trying to share with the world, and Wiki continues to request the same information over and over again about the validation. I am going to submit another image to "The Persecution of Complete Strangers", a wet plate that I made in my hometown YESTERDAY.
If you have any questions, call me on my cell phone at (701)426-7630 to discuss, BUT NONE of the images or content that has been submitted by me should be DELETED, this is my property and I have the right to make available on wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Balkowitsch (talk • contribs) 18:29, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Shane! I'm fairly sure this is a misunderstanding, and Eugene mistook your photos for historical third-party images. This should not happen, but nobody is perfect. The error has been noted at Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Balkowitsch, and I trust the process will (this time) come to the correct result. Thanks for your generosity! --Stephan Schulz (talk) 12:00, 31 August 2016 (UTC)

- I Shane Balkowitsch am the creator and rights owner to the portrait of now Secretary of the Interior Debo Haaland. She visited my studio to participate in my book signing and I captured her portrait. I have made this portrait available to the general public. This article shows me sitting next to Deb as she gave her speech. https://www.inforum.com/entertainment/books/2725288-New-book-shows-Native-Americans-are-not-extinct-New-Mexico-rep-says-at-Bismarck-event 140.186.52.221 00:00, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

- How are you? This is my original wet plate that I took of the good Congresswoman, now Secretary of the Interior, she visited my studio for my book signing for "Northern Plains Native Americans: A Modern Wet Plate Perspective". This is my original work, created by me with my camera in my studio on 6-23-2019. Her trip to my studio is well documented and Newspapers carried the story. 140.186.52.221 23:50, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
