Kirchen in Thüringen

Hallo Arnd, wie auf meiner Disk erwähnt bist du dabei, alle Dorfkirchen Thüringens auf Wikidata anzulegen. Da ich auch schon einige angelegt habe und das sich vermutlich intensivieren wird, wollte ich mich mal mit dir abstimmen welche (möglichst einheitliche) Namensgebung wir verwenden. Die bisher verwendeten Varianten sind:

  • a) St. XY (Beispieldorf)
  • b) St. XY [Das Dorf wird erst in der Description spezifiziert]
  • c) Dorfkirche Beispieldorf

Ich persönlich würde Variante B bevorzugen; C ist mir zu unpräzise und A macht das Label unnötig lang wenn man es auch einfach in die Description schreiben kann. Viele Grüße, Arjoopy (talk) 19:36, 17 December 2019 (UTC)

Hallo Arjoopy, ich glaube B ist etwas zu allgemein. Laut Help:Label/de ist das Label ungefähr dem Lemma in Wikipedia ohne die Klammerzusätze. Deswegen sollte der Ort zumindest auftauchen. Dies ist auch deswegen sinnvoll, da ja nicht in allen Kontext gleichzeitig noch die Beschreibung angezeigt wird. Ich würde daher St. XY Beispieldorf vorschlagen. so sich denn das Patrozinium/der Name ermitteln lassen. Wenn dies nicht einfach möglich ist, würde ich C vorschlagen. Obwohl dabei noch zu überlegen wäre, ob man protestantisch noch hinzufügen sollte. Denn ich hatte jetzt mehrfach den Fall, dass es auch eine katholische Kirche im Dorf gab.
Kleine Info zu den Arbeiten, die ich jetzt mache: Habe circa 1000 von 2200 Kirchen der EKMD durchgearbeitet. Dabei sind auch einige Kirchen im heutigen Sachsen-Anhalt, Brandenburg und Sachsen. Ich denke es dauert noch ein paar Wochen, dass ich damit durch bin, da ich teilweise auch Commons-Kategorien anlege und andere Aufräumarbeiten mache. Anschließend will ich die erstellten WD-Items noch verbessern, indem ich weitere Daten wie die Kirchenkreise, Patrozinium, Ort, etc. hinzufüge. In einem nächsten Schritt, der sicher noch eine ganze Weile hin ist, würde ich dann auch die katholischen Kirchen angehen. --Arnd (talk) 08:29, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
Hallo zurück, gegenüber St. XY Beispieldorf würde ich dann doch St. XY (Beispieldorf) favorisieren, damit klar ist dass das Dorf ein Zusatz zur Spezifizierung und nicht Bestandteil des Namens ist. Würde aber dasselbe Schema auch für kath. Kirchen verwenden, die haben ja auch meistens Patrozinium/Name. Und die Konfession kann man ja dann in der Beschreibung oder über Attribute spezifizieren, so das denn notwendig ist. Gruß, Arjoopy (talk) 11:23, 18 December 2019 (UTC)

Tabernacle is great for harmonizing a set of related items or identifying items that need their labels and descriptions translated.
