Structured Data - early depicts testing

The Structured Data on Commons development team has the very basic version of depicts statements available for early testing on Test-Commons. You can add very basic depicts statements to the file page by going into the new “Structured Data” tab located below the "Open in Media Viewer button." You can use the Latest Files link in the left side nav bar to select existing images, or use the UploadWizard to upload new ones to test with (although those images won’t actually show up on the site). The test site is not a fully functional replica of Commons, so there may be some overall problems in using the site, but you should be able to get a general idea of what using the feature is like.

Early next week I will call for broad, community-wide testing of the feature similar to what we did for Captions, with instructions for testing, known bugs, and a dedicated space to discuss the feature as well as a simple help page for using statements. Until then, you're welcome to post on the SDC talk page with what you might find while testing depicts.

Thanks in advance for trying it out, you'll be hearing more from me next week. -- Keegan (WMF) (talk) 21:59, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Archiving

Hallo Arnd, da klemmt was. Wahrscheinlich sind mehrere Umstände daran beteiligt. Gruß, --Achim (talk) 09:32, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

@Achim55: Can you please add an exception for that?   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 09:52, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
Jeff, had a closer look: \btwitter\.com/search\b has been added to global m:Spam blacklist on Feb 6th. There is no way to bypass that, even admins' edits cannot override this. A workaround is bracketing the web link by <nowiki> tags. Best, --Achim (talk) 10:40, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
@Achim55: Thanks, so now we wait.   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 10:52, 23 March 2019 (UTC)

add date from Exif – bot wrongly overwrites existing correct dates

Hi, I think such edits should not happen, not only because 0000-00-00 00:00:00 is obviously wrong and useless, but because a date (without any apparent errors) was already given. In this case the date was already checked and corrected by the uploader in 2007[1]. No need for overwriting it. --Te750iv (talk) 00:04, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for beeing patient, Te750iv. I reverted a few equal cases. --Arnd (talk) 08:06, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

and thanks

And thank you too. Hmains (talk) 03:44, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Kamerafehler b.)
