DPLA bot

It looks like there is an accidental bot war going on here. You recently tagged a bunch of DPLA bot uploads as lacking license because it is now bringing in the license via a template. See https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Denver_City_Park._-_DPLA_-_a73b7525b815d742320382a1cb0591f8.jpg&diff=prev&oldid=803225662 for an example of an edit after which this bot got confused and thought there was no license tag. I would say that until you two work out how best to address this, your bot should not be tagging Dominic's bot's uploads as lacking licenses. - Jmabel ! talk 15:00, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

It wasn't either of the bots' at fault, actually. Someone made a breaking change on the template that was filling in the licensing tag, which I fixed after AntiCompositeBot tagged a bunch. They were missing licensing at the time, because of the edit, but should be all showing up correctly now. People really shouldn't make such edits without any testing. I am hoping the no-license tags get cleaned up eventually once the license tags are detected again? Dominic (talk) 15:05, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

Deleting the template

I uploaded the file https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Fort_Wooton,CO.png for the Wiki Loves Monuments contest but failed to add a license. I've now corrected that, but don't know how to remove the deletion template. Would somebody tell me how to do it myself, so that I don't have to ask again if I make another mistake like this. @JDavidZeff I've cleaned up the file description page, added the Wiki Loves Monuments tag, and removed the deletion template. If you have more Wiki Loves Monuments files to upload, please use https://wikilovesmonuments.us/upload. Otherwise, I recommend using Special:UploadWizard to upload files. Failing to read license information

Please include tests showing it will detect every possible variation of every common license reliably and without false positives that would cause the bot to apply the wrong license tag. Bot doesn't recognize Template:license from structured data.

Hi:

@Olea (LaOfi) There's a MediaWiki bug where {{License from structured data}} won't update unless the page is purged or edit after the structured data edit. I updated the bot configuration to ignore files with {{License from structured data}}, at least until that bug is fixed. I have also removed the deletion tags from those files.
