Well, it has taken a while but I finally finished and uploaded the squirrel cage rotor induction motor, see http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=af73e5c75918fb93bc7d06f617fdaf1&prevstart=12 You can take each element of the model apart. Work is underway on the second electric motor/alternator.

Hi Andy, I finished the first draft of the second electric motor (which is way more simple than my first model, which you probably allready saw). However, I have little knowledge on the sliprings-part, so I was hoping you could take a look to see whether this is correct or not, and if incorrect, how I can correct it. See the snapshot of the model. BTW: if you found my first model to be fully correct, I can make snapshots of it for wikipedia; to give something back (this is something I said to wish to do earlier, and I am thus still prepared to do this).
