Looks like incorrect information. On most uploads. Since there is no copyright exemption in Venezuela for the COA design it will be required to provide sources that the author is dead for 60 years or that 60 years have passed since its publication. This looks, e.g. with the modern design of File:SEMPRUM-ZULIA.jpg, extremly unlikely. Andres, some work is waiting for your! You must replace the "Julio Barela" falsity on all your uploads with true information. You must provide evidence of the true copyright status of the COA, the COA design and the COA representation/drawing/computer rendering. --Martin H. (talk) 13:41, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Saludos[edit]

Gracias por comentar en mi página de usuario. Efectivamente, estoy llevando a cabo el mejoramiento gráfico de los escudos y banderas municipales, de ciudades y de estados; obviamente es una tarea titánica puesto que hasta donde yo sé, no hay ningún otro usuario venezolano que maneje la creación gráfica o por lo menos la enfocada en el área heráldica y vexilológica en formato vectorial. Avanzo en la medida que la disponibilidad de tiempo y compromisos personales me lo permitan. Comencé por el estado Táchira; y salvo algunas contribuciones con el escudo de Caracas, aspiro culminar los 29 municipios tachirenses para luego seguir con los escudos estatales, capitales de estados, ciudades principales, etc. Es evidente que, a menos que exista otro usuario que pueda colaborar, esto me llevará mucho tiempo culminarlo.

Sin embargo debo agradecer enormemente a usted puesto que la mayoría de actualizaciones heráldicas las he hecho en base a la recopilación que con mucho esmero ha ido haciendo. Me parece que hace tiempo me comuniqué con ud vía telefónica; y me remitió a su perfil de Facebook donde tiene los álbumes con todos los escudos. Si no es así, pues créditos a quien corresponda.

Como comentario al margen, es de destacar que muchos escudos municipales venezolanos no cumplen las normas heráldicas tradicionales (y he visto casos bastante pintorescos), muchas veces he tenido que remitirme a documentación oficial disponible para poder hacer la interpretación lo mas heráldica posible de los mismos, y así poder proceder a elaborarlos; cosa que usualmente me toma bastante tiempo. Quedo a la orden, y nuevamente agradecerle por la recopilación que ha hecho, sin la cual todo hubiera sido mucho mas cuesta arriba para mi. La finalidad es dotar la mayor cantidad posible de municipios con sus respectivos simbolos, tarea compleja mas no imposible. Saludos.

Si eso suele suceder muy a menudo, el problema de los colores. Acá en los andes no se si por suerte, por casualidad o por que siempre la iglesia tuvo mucha influencia en los gobiernos locales, es poco común (pero igual se da esa situación) ver escudos que no cumplen normas heraldicas. El escudo del municipio García de Hevia por ejemplo, es un simple folio con las esquinas dobladas. Y de "supporters" tiene a un pino por un lado, y a un montículo de tablas por el otro. La pesadilla de cualquier heráldista o como se llame. Ese escudo lo llevo a un 70% completado mas o menos, que pronto subiré junto con otros que llevo adelantados tambien.

Y sobre lo que mencionas del uso de los escudos; es cierto, al ser archivos libres de licencia (y saber que muchos diseñadores gráficos son algo perezosos) es muy común que se utilicen archivos provenientes de wikipedia/wikimedia. Por eso trato de subirlos en tamaño grande. Si gustas, consígueme las directrices heráldicas del escudo de Cabimas, es decir, la parte donde lo describen heráldicamente, y lo mejoramos al formato .svg y que cumpla las normas. Mejor si tienes alguna(s) imagen(es) (fotografía) donde se pueda ver en mas detalle; el banner tricolor inferior se une en la mitad con un elemento que aparece rectangular, pero heráldicamente podría ser un boton? una escarapela? alguna orden militar? entonces la idea es hacer escudos de calidad y ajustados a la normativa oficial que corresponda. Tambien es normal hacer una que otra adaptación mientras no desvíe mucho la esencia básica del escudo o que lo deforme en gran manera eso sí. Saludos.

Hola Andrés; estuve revisando el escudo de Cabimas y me gustaría si me remitieras a alguna fuente oficial, documento, blog etc donde se haga la descripción heráldica. No importa si no está realizada en términos técnicos (como debe ser); esto es porque me parece que hay alguna omisión sobre el color de los campos del escudo. En la práctica todos son blancos (argent). Tengo todos los elementos para elaborarlo pero me gustaría estar seguro. En caso que sea imposible pues ut me dices y pongo manos a la obra. Solo un detalle, las cintas a manera de bandera (tricolor, bicolor, etc) se me hacen muy complejas de hacer; si observas mis escudos te darás cuenta que en un par de escudos tuve que mantener en reserva ese pequeño detalle; al menos hasta que aprenda a elaborarlos de forma satisfactoria.

Sobre los escudos que al parecer son inexistentes, supongo que deben existir sólo que muchos de ellos son municipios muy modestos que tienen poca o nula presencia en la web; por ende la tarea de recopilarlos es imposible en la práctica. Del Edo. Táchira faltan tres, que no se cuales son dado que tengo las imágnes de los escudos pero varios de ellos no se a cuales municipios pertenecen; lo cierto es que totalizan 26 escudos; quedan faltando 3; ya llevo 15 municipios tachirenses incluyendo los que voy a subir hoy, llevo el 51,7% de la labor hecha je je. He dejado los escudos complejos y elaborados para mas adelante.

Cuando culmine con los municipios tachirenses y el de Cabimas, seguiré con el de los escudos estatales y/o sus ciudades capitales; luego con el de las principales poblaciones del país aparte de aquellas. Había pensado hacerlo por estados; pero así de esa forma pasaría mucho tiempo hasta que equis estado tuviera sus escudos actualizados; de manera que preferí hacerlo de forma vertical; por lo pronto terminar lo que comencé (TCH) y luego voy añadiendo el resto. Fuentes de banderas y escudos tachirenses[edit]

Hola que cuentas!! Pues todavía me falta vectorizar algunos escudos tachirenses, los que ves en .png son los que faltan. Donde los consigo? en los perfiles municipales de Corpoandes, donde cada municipio de la región andina tiene su dossier. Otro sitio que me fue muy útil es un perfil de FB de un señor que supongo es un aficionado de la heráldica y los símbolos. Este es su perfil, allí tiene escudos de todos los municipios de varios estados, aunque le ocurre lo mismo, hay muchísimos que no ha logrado conseguir. De todas formas debiste darte cuenta que no estoy 100% enfocado en escudos tachirenses; no se si has visto los de otras ciudades que he hecho? I found your note about File:Bandera Cabimas.jpeg. The file never had a license template and was deleted 10 years ago. Did you just noticed the deletion? Please add license to your uploads next time. Also {{PD-VenezuelaGov}} seems to cover text only and does not seem to say anything about coats of arm.
