Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Petición[edit]

Hola, Buenas Noches.

Observé tu trabajo gráfico y la verdad es que es muy bueno, por eso quisiera pedirte un favor. ¿Es posible que puedas hacer un logotipo de una coalición que se dio en Baja California en el año de 2004? Llevó el nombre de "Alianza para vivir seguro", y la integraron el PT, PRI, PEBC y PVEM.

En Wikipedia sólo está esta imagen, en muy mala resolución:

Encontré esta foto donde se aprecia el logotipo de la coalición, seguramente te servirá: Fotografía de Samuel Ramos Flores, candidato a Alcalde de Mexicali (2004)

También en internet esta foto, del 2007, de otra coalición, casi igual a la anterior pero son el PT. Me gustaría que la adecuaras para poderla usar en Wikipedia: Logotipo Alianza para que vivas mejor, (Baja California, 2007)

Muchas gracias por haber elogiado mi trabajo! a continuación te dejare ambos logos reconstruidos en SVG, hice mi mejor trabajo con ambas, aunque tuve ciertas dificultades con el logo de la Alianza Para Vivir Seguro puesto que la resolución era bastate mala y por esa razón no pude conseguir una fuente similar, asi que use otra, sin en los próximos días consigo una que se asemeje mas, actualizare el archivo:

Hola! Creo que como todos en la vida, alguna vez habremos usado Wikipedia: tareas, trabajos, investigación, por ocio... Y uno de los "temas" que más recurro porque me gusta y apasiona son los electorales, y desde hace muuuuucho tiempo (años quizá) que sigo tu trabajo. Aprendiendo a editar artículos en Wikipedia, veo (me di cuenta) que eres el chico que grafica la mayoría (sino es que todos 😅) los mapas de elecciones aquí en México. Y me gustaría pedirte si de favor podrías "actualizar" este mapa de las elecciones pasadas del 21 en la CDMX: ¿Por qué? Yo sé que elaboraste este mapa con base a que partidos presentaron la postulación de cada uno de los candidatos en el caso de la Alianza PRI-PAN-PRD. Pero es que ese no es el partido al que pertenecen los alcaldes que hoy gobiernan sus respectivas demarcaciones. Por ejemplo: en el caso de Coyoacán sería azul porque el alcalde Giovani es panista, o la alcaldía de Tlalpan no debería ir en verde porque la alcaldesa es y siempre ha sido perredista. ¿Crees que podrías hacer esos cambios? Yo lo haría si supiera cómo 😅, porque como todos los que han escrito aquí en "Discusión" admiro y halago tu trabajo, tus mapas realmente son muy buenos. Ojalá algún día me enseñaras como se hace :3 : dónde los haces, etece... Me haría muchísima ilusión aprender del maestro jsjsjs ;v Te mando un saludo, por ahora creo que eso sería todo.

Mapas elecciones 2023[edit]

Hola Alberto, quisiera plantearte varios temas. Primeramente, preguntarte si sabes si en el Estado de México si se usó la nueva distritación o no, y es que ya tengo un mapa hecho pero no lo he subido porque no he logrado averiguar si se usó o no ya la nueva distritación. En segunda instancia preguntarte, si de elecciones a gobernador los datos están disponibles (en la mayoría de las ocasiones) a nivel municipal porqué los estamos publicando a nivel distrital y te hago esa pregunta porque ciertamente, esta enciclopedia la lee mucha gente, gente que en su mayoría ignora en qué distrito electoral vive, pero con mucha seguridad sabe en qué municipio vive, ¿No crees que sería mejor hacer los mapas a nivel municipal para mayor entendimiento colectivo? Digo, al menos acá en Chihuahua así los hemos venido manejando desde siempre y es entendible prácticamente para cualquier persona.

P.D. Muchas veces es mejor usar la palabra ACTUALIZACIÓN a la palabra CORRECCIÓN, esto es colectivo.

Hola Eddie, respecto al tema del Estado de México, tengo entendido que si se usó la nueva distritacion electoral local, de hecho, me encuentro trabajando en ese mapa, pero, si tú tienes uno ya hecho, la verdad estaría excelente que lo publicaras, sobre la informacion de los resultados electorales, en la mayoría de Institutos la información la he visto disponible en distritos que en municipios, solo en casos como el de Baja California, Coahuila y Chihuahua veo que la información se publica a nivel municipal, aunque tampoco está mal publicar mapas municipales, amplia y le da un mayor panorama al lector.
